«The property is at a walking distance from the immigration and pedestrian entrance if entering from India border to Bhutan. The cleanliness can be improved and lighting. Room size was big and spacious however it was lacking lights (only had a blub on top and two bed lamps ). In bathroom the water taps were leaking and the shower head was tied with rubber packing and while adjusting the head I feared it might fall out or get broken completely. Staff was friendly, helping and well Natured.»

«Overall the place is okay - great view of the valley and clean rooms. As the hotel is located on top of a mountain it's quite remote from any restaurant which makes you bit dependent on their in-house restaurant which isn't the best. Even after requesting the food to be less oily it was everytime floating in oil (might not be a big issue to some but let it happen for 4 days and then see), taste is not good either but the charge is exorbitant. The staff doesn't go any extra mile for anything, ...

«The rooms in individual cottages are fairly comfortable and spacious. There are views of the green hills to be had from abundant windows but with other cottages around, you may have to keep the curtains drawn. The bathroom had heating arrangements too. The housekeeping staff are regular with cleaning and changing towels and tea bags daily. There is free Wi-fi available only in the lobby and dining area. The buffet spread is quite good and the proprietors were rather welcoming at the dinner ...

«Delicious food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. This has the whole package. Had loads of fun staying here. Had some problems with the bill payment but the staff went the extra mile to help me through the process. The owner is a fantastic man. My go-to place for whenever I return to Thimphu for sure!»

«Dewachen is a amazing property and fantastic location overseeing the Phobjikha valley. Rooms with wooden flooring n walls are spacious with the old fashion bukhari (wood fired heater) and chopped firewood placed outside every room.Good breakfast options. Restaurant needs a bit of improvement since we were offered a set menu for lunch and dinner, would have preferred ala carte on a vacation. Lack of eating joints in the vicinity. Food and other facilities for drivers needs to improve else ...
