«We had a really great stay for Valentine’s Day weekend. Only complaint we have is we both had sore backs after 2 nights, the beds are not comfortable at all. We talked about going back a few times a year but the beds may be enough of a reason not to unfortunately. The staff and everything else were wonderful! »

«The Tavern was unavailable due to refurbishing; hopefully the rooms are next. Our room was spacious, but clearly a bit worn and in need of a facelift. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and overall our stay was very pleasant. Front desk staff was gracious and friendly, as was our breakfast host.»

«I booked this place for my two older children and myself and it is such a cute place! We had a full kitchen, two seperate bedrooms and two bathrooms, which comes in handy. Its in a quiet area with no traffic noise. I just want to give a heads up that there are no elevators, so if anyone is physically impaired, make sure you request a first floor. «Much to our surprise this was a great stay, room looked newly renovated with comfortable bed. Lobby amenities although limited were free and had a good selection of snacks. Local restaurants were fun and had a good selection of food. Would highly recommend this for all of the above and it was affordable»

«clean and convenient place. Lot’s of parking space, nearby a lake with beautiful view. Service desk is very friendly and helpful. No breakfast though, only self made coffee available.. No hair-dry or cups for teeth brushing in Bath room. Anyway, good place for saving cost for just a good sleep during travel. »

«Absolutely beautiful! We adored our view overlooking the lake, everyone in the office was wicked sweet and helpful. I checked in late and they made the process smooth for me. I also adored the condition of the room. »

My wife and I stayed at Sutton Home for my birthday and we were both blown away by the condition of the property and how willing the staff was to go out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible! The Chef, Sally made the most wonderful breakfast for us each morning and stuck around long enough to have a friendly conversation. «Inn keeper was so accommodating, gave us plenty of ideas for fun in the Lake Winnipesaukee area, The Ballard House has been featured in the Yankee Magazine, a lot of history. Beautiful back deck with outstanding view of mountains.»
