«This is our second stay here. After spending time on the Kona coast with lots of black lava, hot sun, crowds, and stores, this place is like an oasis--as least for someone from Western Washington. «We enjoyed our too short stay in this beautiful place. I loved the interior decor. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen was well stocked. «The grounds are beautiful. No one helped with checkin couldn’t find #71. Didn’t know where to park. There wasn’t as much airflow as described. Really stuffy/hot sweating. The bed was hard, the couch really needs to be replaced. The loungers at the pool were chained together one facing the pool, one facing the other way. Couldn’t move any more than a couple inches. Very strange. There really is nothing around the area. The condo was clean and kitchen stocked. »

«One of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island was our stay in Naalehu. The house is just fantastic, with 3 good-sized bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms. «It was very convenient location in Hilo. Next to lovely grounds. I did not see a hot tub, but did use pool. We had a mountain view but not an ocean view. The 3 balconies were great for viewing. For the price this is a good value. The bathtubs are old. But, they work fine. It is an older unit and building, but it was comfortable. Two bedroom and two bathrooms. Has coffee filters and shampoo. Has parking under facility. Walkable to a beach and lovely park area.»
