«Great location. My room was good enough for me, and I had everything I needed. There is no food in the hotel but no problem, there is a lot of cafes and restaurants just a few step away. The hotel was under construction/ renovation but I didn’t hear anything about that. Love the staff who were very helpful. I will definitely be back. »

«This is a budget accommodation where for a reasonable price you can get a room with private bathroom; therefore, expect a far from spotless decoration, wonky bits and dodgy appliances. That said, the room I had was spacious and bright, with plenty of storage space, a really large bathroom and a balcony with 2 chairs and a table, overlooking a nice and quiet square. «A very good chooise! Clean (but small) room, had balcony, good brekfast (not 5 star breakfast, but in did quite good) Frendly and serviceminded staff. Some traffic noice, but what to expect...? Perfect location,- only 20 min walk to the "inner shopping/dining" area. Grosary / supermarket very close by (1 min walk) I will absolutly recommend this hotel, it will be my first choice visiting Lisbon in the future.»

«The room itself was quite dirty. Upon arrival we took off our shoes as we walked in the hotel room, and within 5 minutes our socks were black with dirt. When I wiped my fingers on the shelve where the glasses/plates were, they were covered in a thick layer of dust. I also got a towel with several old bloodstains on it. «The facility is located in a calm neighbourhood 30 minutes by walk from the city centre. The reception was open 24 hours and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed there for 2 nights in two different rooms; the hot water in the first room (single room) was not working and the wifi was so bad probably because it was in the third floor, but was fine in the second room. the property was not soundproof as you can hear when people walk or talk in the hallway. »

«The staff was amazing. They were kind and genuinely interested in the guest's needs and background. The in house inventory of drinks were great and extremely affordable. I bought a nice bottle of porte wine for 6 euros! Air conditioning and heating is near new. Shares bath was super clean and just across the hall. Location is walking distance to the best of Lisbon. Will stay there again for sure.»

«Flott beliggenhet i et sjarmerende område. Midt i gamlebyen.Gammel trikk som gikk rett utenfor hotellet. Mange restauranter i området. Litt støy utenfor men det bør man tåle når man bor rett i smørøyet. Hjelpsom og hyggelig personal. Flott sted å bo når man er i Lisboa. »

«Isabella was great! She was able to check us in early on arrival, helped carry the bags to our room, helped schedule our train to another city, arranged our tuk tuk tour, and provided any and all information we needed to enjoy Lisbon. The building was close to everything we wanted to do. While there were a lot of stairs, it never seemed to bother us even after long days of exploring by foot. «The Garam Lisboa is truly a beautiful space, and the employees are so kind and service minded. The only thing is that it seems like it is a small humidity problem, the toilet paper was never really dry for instance and it smells a little bit. Simple breakfast, but very good!»

«The booking was confirmed on a 2nd floor, i got a 3rd floor, all switches dirty actually black, bed horrible mattress, there was a alarm ringing at 04 am on first night, and toilet cleaning very bad specially in the shower. Mean time I have lung emphysema and I complain about the floor as confirmation was to a 2nd floor they said that wasn’t for us chose the floor even if of the booking wouldn’t show that you were going to stay on a 3rd. So yes mainly was very bad »

«I like the idea that I was in was to seem to be in a most quiet neighborhood of town although it was most central. Nice washroom with a view into a what seems to be a backyard of balconies. Effective service, I guess also. »

Way below expectations.

"My expectation was lot higher than what this Hotel should offer. 4-stars should be maximum 3-stars. Out of 3 SMALL elevators only two was working and they were all full always. Ended up walking the stairs several floors up and down with luggage, really poor!"

Fint hotell med meget god beliggenhet.

"Jeg er veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Det er ikke akkurat nytt, men det er velholdt. Jeg liker beliggenheten. Det var kort å gå til byens severdigheter. Den har en takterrasse med en fantastisk utsikt. Den kan besøkes uten at du er gjest på hotellet. Så anbefaler det. Fornøyd med frokosten. Det eneste som trekker ned er hvis du har vindu ut mot Praca Martim Moniz. Det er en del støy fra biler og mennesker. Fordel med utsikt ut mot plassen er at du kan følge med på køen til trikk 28 som i perioder er veldig lang. Trikk 28 starter rett ved hotellet. Trikk 28 er veldig populær og kjører gjennom flere av bydelene i sentrum. "
