Reiser til Pommiers

Fatma in the reception was very helpful, as last time we stayed here in May 2023. There was some problems with the aircon, so we got a discount. Larer in the evening she had fixed us a new room, so we’re very happy. This Hotel is a little gem, with friendly staff, in the heart of Lyon. The beds were also better than last time :)

Perfectly fine hotel, with a pretty OK breakfast buffet. Decent looking lobby, but the room could have used some freshening up. I particularly missed having a proper shower - there was just a bath tub where you had to sit and hold the shower head. I had been looking for something with a better location further north on the Presqu'ile, and ended up here because everything else was full already, but it turned out not to be bad at all - the neighborhood is starting to shape up what with the new Confluence mall etc. It wouldn't be my first choice for Lyon, but I would certainly stay here again if my first few choices were already booked.

This hotel is next to the Metro line which have a connection to the Rhone Express (airport express), which is very nice. Walking distance to Old Town (15 minutes), and there are some nice restaurants/bars close to the hotel. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel, because there was a local bakery nearby. The hotelroom was nice, comfortable and clean, the shower was big but the area around the WC was very tight... The staff was very serviceminded and helpful, and I would definitely stay at this hotel if I am going back to Lyon.
