«The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!»

«Great location, excellent place to stay. Couldn't be happier. Would consider staying there again if in the area. Only thing we could have done more of is kindling for the fire but that's a very, very minor thing compared to all the many positives»

«Skipton Lodge was absolutely spotless. Clearly newly refurbished it was modern and had everything one could need. It was nice to walk into a warm house, and we felt very comfortable there.»

«Nice property, clean and had sky tv. Only problem was it was so cold, heating worked but radiators too small to heat the ground floor, ended up buying 2 blower heaters from morrissons. Stay with us (agent for property) didn't help us just said no one else had complained (I think they had worked for the post office). Surprised if nobody had mentioned it before as the temperature struggled to get to 16 degrees until we got the heaters (uk government recomend a min of 18.»

«Nous avons choisi cet établissement pour y faire une courte étape (1 nuit) et il a parfaitement répondu à notre attente. Rien d'exceptionnel, mais tout y était pour y passer une bonne nuit. Nous sommes également venus avec notre chien et nous avons beaucoup apprécié pouvoir le promener le lendemain matin dans un bois juste en face avec un chemin de balade. »

«We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day. »
