«The property was clean, but we felt that it was cleaned possibly a week before our arrival and could have used a refresh. We would have liked to use the grill but it was not clean for immediate use and we had to make other plans for dinner. The only other downside to the stay was the mattress(s) in the 4th bedroom with the bunk beds. Both were very thin and uncomfortable. The guest ended up sleeping on the couch.»

«This property suited our needs perfectly! It was well equipped with all that we needed. Exactly as described. Our only complaint would be the check out at 10:00 am. We managed it, but was a stretch with the littles we had with us. Understand that this is necessary if cleaning to be done for same day turnaround. »

«My niece & I are repeat guests for our annual snowboard trip. The property is just a half mile away from the slopes. Clean accommodations that feel like home. John & Dianna are perfect hosts & we look at staying again in the future.»

«Great central location to be able to ski all around the Petosky area (we hit Highlands and Boyne Mountain this trip). House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Having the garage was great to store skis and wet gear. Definitely would book this property again. »

«This was the perfect late fall getaway for my wife and I. The house was clean, the host was extremely accommodating and prompt with replies to questions and the location is perfect! The hot tub is an added bonus and a great way to spend a cold fall evening, listening to music and talking. We cannot recommend this place enough and will likely be looking to book another weekend for a quick winter getaway.»

«We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely coastal cottage. The location is ideally situated for strolling downtown Charlevoix, crossing over to Lake Michigan and the Mushroom Houses, or heading to Castle Farms and Hungry Duck Farm. The host was responsive and hospitable before and during our stay and has equipped the kitchen and bedrooms with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend!»

«Only downsize was the construction noise during the week from the neighbor's property on the north (new construction framing in progress). For us an inconvenience, but when house is built, the problem goes away. Would have been nice to be given a heads-up before we arrived. Being able to bring family dog was a plus.»

«Traveled up north for a spring break ski trip with my daughter. The house was in good proximity to all of the resorts. Very clean, as mentioned very quaint, and was a perfect fit for our stay. Great communication from very friendly owners! »

«Our family of 20 got away together to share meals, skiing at Nub's Knob, snowmobiling on great state trails, and relaxing in the hot tub. We really enjoyed everything about the beautiful and well equipped cabin home. There was a place for everyone!»

«The house was super convenient to the wedding venue. It was clean, well decorated and the host Joe was super easy to communicate with. The one negative would be having only one proper shower, but the good definitely outweighed any small issues. »
