My home has a distinctive design spread over five levels. It comfortably accommodate five adults and has additional capacity with two more futons. It is an ideal retreat for families and friends seeking an unforgettable active coastal getaways.
As you step inside, you'll find yourself on the entry level, where a comfortable single bedroom awaits, complete with an adjoining shower/WC and a convenient laundry room.
Ascend the stairs to the next level, where a spacious and inviting kitchen/diner beckons. Sunlight streams through the windows, casting a warm glow. From here, step out into the sun-dappled sunken courtyard, adorned with colorful fish motifs that seem to swim up the walls. Ascend the steps to the garage and its parking space, accommodating a car (at a slight angle to maximize access for neighbours). Parking is precious in any Cornish town. The small Cornish Council carpark is free overnight.
The third level unveils a versatile living room that will tickle your senses with its captivating views of Newlyn's historic harbour quay, the bustling fishing port, and the panoramic beauty of Mounts Bay from both the room and the balcony. This room boasts comfortable seating and a double sofa bed for added accommodation, encouraging relaxation and shared moments. Rather than a TV, we offer a cinematic experience – connect your own device to the projector and immerse yourself in your favourite films. A DVD player and selection of DVDs, books, and games are thoughtfully provided, adding to the leisurely ambiance.
A few steps further, you'll discover a generously sized double bedroom that affords charming views of the harbour through the adjacent sitting room. Open the bi-fold doors to an evening sun balcony, where you can unwind and admire the surroundings. The room also offers space for a travel cot (not provided), ensuring convenience for families with young ones.
At the top of our holiday haven rests a top-floor suite, with a spacious family bathroom and an inviting double bedroom. Greet each day with the magical spectacle of the morning sunrise over St. Michaels Mount and the iconic red and white sea-level defining hut.
Our house is cherished by friends and family as a multi-generational functional home for those seeking an active holiday experience or simply to watch the busy life go by. The coastal footpath passes the front door with a Wed-Sat charity coffee shop on the old quay and two fabulous pubs for dining 100m away on either side. While outdoor spaces for young children or a dog are not available within the property, a brief one-minute stroll leads you to the nearest green space. Just five minutes the other way the vibrant Penzance promenade awaits, offering an array of recreational activities for youngsters, including swimming, basketball, skate parks, amusement arcades and play areas. Mousehole, being so close offers other swimming and the opportunity to enjoy quaint village life.
The courtyard is a functional space, perfect for drying wetsuits, cleaning surfboards, or tending to muddy walking boots after a day of adventure.

Convenience is at your doorstep, with a bus stop and e-bike rentals just outside, facilitating your exploration of the charming Mousehole village. Whether you choose to stroll along the seafront or venture through picturesque fields to reach Mousehole, the journey is as enchanting as the destination. Recently voted in the top 10 beaches in the world. Pedn Vounder beach 20 mins drive and a short walk away. The Minack Theatre is not much further and all the wonderful surf beaches of Sennen, Gwynver and even Porthmeor in St Ives are only 7 miles away.
