«It was a joy to stay in this lovely property. The location is perfect for drives into the Amish countryside, and close to the highways for longer-distance travel. It is a well-appointed room with all of the necessary items, plus a kitchen area stocked with coffee, soft drinks, water and snacks. We felt quite pampered.»

«My first time staying in a non-hotel environment in rural Lancaster county. The rental was spacious and very comfortable. Everyone commented that they slept very well. The rental is in the heart of everything, close to most major restaurants, Amish shopping, and other attractions. We would definitely recommend, and will definitely stay here again in the future!»

«This was probably one of my favorite VRBOs! The accommodations were lovely. Everything was cozy and comfortable and the deck overlooking the pond was a fantastic place to read and have coffee. We felt conveniently located to all the area had to offer. The best part of the rental was the sweet family that hosted us. The Fox family are not at all intrusive but are kind and welcoming and happy to assist with anything you might need. Two thumbs up for this little jewel!»

«We feel bad about leaving this review….not my style. We stayed here on our wedding night. We were planning to go out after wedding but elected to stay in. Checkin was great! Easy and quick. Kitchen well equipped and place was clean. Couch/futon was so uncomfortable only to be outdone by the dreadful bed. Very uncomfortable. There were cheap plastic blinds that did not keep much light out. We felt it was daylight all night. Motorcycles kept racing up and down the streets and you heard the noise ...

«My Sister and I had a wonderful time. Eat from all the local farms market and Fabric shopping I enjoyed the rail trail 1/2 block away lovely yard and home in a safe neighborhood.»

«Lovely historic building located near restaurants, Boutiques and Gettysburg Battlefield. I enjoyed offee each morning on the screened in porch. Ba k steps are steep but the front entrance has a lovely staircase. Beds were comfortable. Smart TV so we were able to log into Netflix and Amazon Prime.»

«We really enjoyed being in dead center of the town with views of roller coasters and downtown from our window. The place was mostly clean but inside the kitchen cabinets and some areas in the bathtub both needed some attention. The bed and couch were both comfortable for sleeping. The apartment is accommodating but the kitchen could use some more cooking equipment like a larger fry pan, mixing bowls, and measuring cups. «We went to visit family at Carlisle Barracks. With their graduation the same week, it was hard to find affordable, nice lodgings. This fit the bill! We enjoyed our stay. Deb was helpful and kind. The water and snacks she provides are delicious. We would stay there again.»
