Paradise Beach - Eco, Family, and Pet Friendly House

This newly built modern family-friendly house is perfect for a relaxing getaway if you like nature, quiet ambience, 90 Mile Beach off-leash dog walking, fishing, golf, cycling with kids.

Inside you will be welcomed by a massive open-plan kitchen/living/dining area & super comfy family space with laid-back lounges, large tv and fireplace.

All the inside furniture is professionally manufactured from reclaimed timber, while the outside furniture is made from reclaimed Australian hardwood.

Once you step outside, you find it hard to see anything other than coastal banksia's, gum trees, kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidna's, native birds, Lake Reeve or if you are lucky the Australian RAAF Roulette pilots training overhead.

As we are only two blocks from the beach, it is only a short stroll to go for a swim, fish or cricket match on the beach. Alternatively, tenants may have access to the block next door (only if vacant) if they want to kick a footy or let the dogs chase a frisbee.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 - Queen bed with chest of drawers, 32" LED LCD TV, ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe & ensuite/toilet.

Bedroom 2 - Queen bed with chest of drawers, ceiling fan, & built-in robe.

Bedroom 3 - Two single beds, two side tables and lamps, ceiling fan and toy cupboard.

Bedroom 4 - One set of double bunks with chest of drawers, side table, ceiling fan, built-in robe.


Kitchen, Living & Dining

Kitchen - Fantastic island bench with induction cooktop, quadruple glazed electric oven, massive 700lt fridge/freezer, bar fridge, coffee machine and coffee grinder, dishwasher, bench seats & servery to outside.

Dining - Huge 2.5m long dining table with 10 seats with overhead fan/light.

Living - Enormous 5 x 5m leather couch with chaise, coffee table and a 60" LED LCD TV, DVD and in-house movies. Additional 2 seater leather couch. Round floor mat/cushion for pets to lie on. Fireplace and box of wood. Split system and fans.

Alfresco - Gigantic 3m long Australian hardwood table and bench seats, 8 burner full S/S BBQ with outdoor sink and commercial grade S/S rangehood.

Backyard - Kids cubby house with slide and sandpit, outdoor games in the shed, flat grassed for Bocci and access to vacant block next door (only if unoccupied).

The house has a 7-star energy rating due to its double-glazed windows, underfloor insulation, minimal south-facing windows and R4.0 ceiling insulation. Therefore it stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

To top it off, this house has solar electricity and solar hot water that is also boosted by the wood heater when in use, a double-filtered rainwater tank, onsite treatment plant, massive amounts of north-facing windows for solar gain in winter, reverse cycle air conditioning plus high glass louvres to catch the sea breeze in summer and to also cross ventilate when required. Finally, any additional grid power used in the house is also green energy.

All you need to bring is:

- Sheets, doona covers & pillowcases

- Towels, hand towels and bath mat

- Food & drinks

If you need anything else, there is a takeaway and small grocery store at Golden Beach (3 min drive away). There are no shops at Paradise Beach.

Dine out at Safety Beach Life Saving Club or in Loch Sport or Sale less than a 30 min drive away. Relax, unwind and enjoy!

A little peace and quiet
This is the second time we’ve stayed here. We loved it so much last year we had to come back. Everything is just so easy here. Paradise Beach is beautiful in winter and so quiet. There’s plenty of wildlife around. We enjoy having the beach to ourselves. Hilary and Andy’s house is such a lovely place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

Evaluating our entire experience
We (family of 5 with x3 young teens) travel a lot and it’s not often that we would feel the need to write a review as most stays have been sub optimal. During our recent stay here, we found the arrival instructions to be clear and precise, that is no issue with locating everything before and after entry. The property is kept in better shape than at home and for us first impressions count! Everything we needed and more for a four day stay. The location is quite but accessible to walking tracks, the famous 90-Mile beach (5min walk) and bike trails. If we had to sum up our stay at this beautiful rental property, it would be beyond expectations and would not hesitate to come back for a longer stay. For the next group to stay here, it won’t disappoint 👌

Comfortable in the middle of the wilderness
The property had everything we needed. We enjoyed meeting wildlife outside the house and you feel close to nature when you wake up with the birds singing. The house is big, comfortable with enough seating places to keep us all together.

Re-charge the batteries at Paradise Beach
My 2 dogs, adult daughters and granddaughter had a very happy and comfortable stay. The house had EVERYTHING we needed, and more. Kangaroo and bird watching from the deck were exciting activities that did not go unrewarded. Mark had told us about a market at Golden Beach which we attended and left with many purchases. I felt extremely relaxed with the excellent fencing around the property so my dogs could play and explore. Thanks for the use of your beautiful house for the Easter weekend.

Very relaxing

Paradise Beach is Paradise
We had the best time at Paradise Beach. Hillary and Andy were super helpful with our booking and the house was absolutely fantastic for our group, accommodating 2 families of 4. The open plan living, bedrooms, warm fire place and garden were perfect and so close to the beach. The weather was amazing for winter and we have quite a few beach days, even a couple of very quick swims in the ocean. We saw seals and dolphins each time we went for walks. We will definitely be back and would stay at this house again! Thanks Hillary and Andy.

A little piece of Paradise in Paradise Beach!
We have spent a lot of time in different properties in the Paradise Beach Golden Beach area but have to say, this gorgeous place is the best we've found! Great spacious living areas, beautifully furnished and styled, amenities aplenty, lovely outside entertaining space with a wonderful long verandah overlooking the native flora & fauna (and birds & roos!) and a fully fenced yard that our pooches absolutely loved. Thanks so much Hilary & Andy, we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Great get away
Thank you to Hilary & Andy for such a wonderful family weekend away. A great home that had everything you could need. Wood heater heated the house up so well & was lovely to sit by of a night time. Ideal Getaway
Paradise Beach property was a welcoming and comfortable accommodation for a 7 night getaway. Well equipped with a wide range of amenities, services and appliances and the beaut coffee machine for your favourite beans. The ambience of the deck overlooking the natural environment complimented the location and peace of the stay. The local population with joey’s were regular visitors enjoying the lush grass. Paradise Beach is a mere 3 minutes drive and provides easy access to the surf for fishing,relaxing, long walks and fun. The property is an ideal getaway and opportunity to fully enjoy the surrounds and relaxation it offers.

Solitude and sea
Incredibly restful and peaceful extended week’s break. This is a well-located house, a short walk to the beach which was often empty for long walks and dynamic swims on the 90 mile beach. Close enough to Sale, Briagolong Blue Pool and the lakes to find plenty to explore. Came home via Tarra Bulga National Park, also excellent. The house is well-appointed with everything you need and outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Plus incredible bird life, kangaroos every day.

Lovely house, nice location
This is a large house with a great floorplan. It had everything we wanted. The kitchen was unusually well equipped, even including a coffee machine. The yard was well fenced ,which allowed us to relax without worrying that our dog might escape. We enjoyed walks to the beach and Lake Reeve. It was a great holiday - thanks.
