Leave the hustle & bustle of city living behind without having to go far! This charming, recently renovated, farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful countryside of Chattahoochee Hills. Located just south of Atlanta and 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson airport. With its unique farmhouse layout and authentic country outdoor setting, it makes for a home away from home. Cedar Hill Cottage is nestled far off the road offering you lots of privacy. You can drink coffee in the morning on one of the large decks while watching wildlife and sip cocktails in the evening while stargazing. The kitchen is fully appointed if you want to dine in. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, bedroom #2 has a full-size bed and bedroom #3 has two twin beds. The unique community of Serenbe is a mile away. The New York Times has called Serenbe "a utopian experiment in New Urbanism being molded out of Georgia red clay". Within Serenbe, there are farm-to-table restaurants, outdoor theatre, horseback riding, seasonal farmers markets, spa, shopping, wine tasting at the General store, and much more. Cottage is 10 miles from the Chattahoochee Equestrian Center. Cedar Hill Cottage is located on the famous Dirty Sheets bike trail offering bicyclists a 21-mile gravel loop. Also, near by is the Silk Sheets trail.

This was our 3rd time to stay at this lovely home. It is perfectly located for our horse show at Bouckeart Equestrian and we love to go to The Hill for dinner. The owner is so kind and has put her whole heart into this home--you can feel it. Love our stay here every time!

Perfection!

If I could give this property 100 stars I would! It was very well thought out and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, coffee, sugar, creamer was supplied, but I’d be writing forever if I touched on everything we loved and appreciated! We loved seeing the baby deer and lightening bugs every night! Lastly, Michelle definitely goes above and beyond for her renters!

We loved everything about this adorable cottage. The home was well cared for and had everything we needed. It was only 20 minutes from the Chattahoochee Hills equestrian center and a wonderful place to land after a long day at the show grounds. We would love to come again!

Charming Well Stocked Cottage

So nice we've stayed here twice!!

Every time we plan a trip through Atlanta, I check availability for this popular gem! We were thrilled to find it available for this trip and it did not disappoint. Lovingly appointed with every convenience, each thoughtful detail has been considered to make this a beautiful stay. They even had baggies for the sandwiches I made and parchment paper. I know that seems trivial but just wow! It is so close to lovely Serenbe and The Hill restaurant - yum. I would give this home 10 stars if I could -- just beyond. Also, communication with the host is friendly and timely. Book this!!!

Lovely Place

Just finished a four week vacation staying at six different VRBO properties in four different states and this property was my favorite. I wish we had longer here. The house and the property were lovely. Wake up to deer in the yard, have coffee on the back patio, enjoy the quiet of the country, then drive into the quaint little village of Serenbe for a great meal or some horseback riding. Meanwhile, downtown Atlanta is only about 35 min away. The house was well stocked with towels, shampoo, even fresh eggs. Communication was great. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Home away from Home

The Cedar Hill Cottage was perfect for our trip. The personal touches to make our stay comfortable were thoughtful and appreciated. We came in to a clean, well decorated home with an informative book of helpful tips for the home and the area! They also left us some honey and eggs from their farm. We travel several weeks per year and will definitely be reaching out the next time we are back in this area.

Cozy Cedar Hill Cottage

We arrived very late at night and our host had some lights on and even turned the heat on knowing it would get cool that night. We all had big smiles on our faces while checking things out because it was just so dang cute and clean and the decor and finishings were top notch. The homestead hound is adorable and the hosts were kind, accommodating, and friendly. Our boys enjoyed the pool table and the grill was nice to have for entertaining. We are already planning to book it again next year!!

Perfect place, perfect stay!

I would give more than 5 stars if possible! The cottage was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. The beds were super comfortable and there were multiple welcoming touches throughout. The host was very responsive to questions and check in was super easy. My only complaint is that we didn’t get to spend more time there. Highly recommend!

Just Perfect!

We loved everything about this cottage! It is really perfect! We were in town for a horse show at Chatt Hills Eventing so we didn't have time to explore the area but staying in this cottage definitely beat staying at a hotel! It was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and just perfect in every way! We would 10/10 stay again and may just look for a reason to return to the area so we can! The fresh eggs and honey were such a nice welcoming touch and the owners were very accommodating and easy to reach too! 100% recommend! Thanks again Michelle :)

The Perfect Getaway

The space is so warm and inviting. A cozy couch, clean and comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, and all the amenities I could ever ask for. The property is just as lovely. Tucked away from the road and surrounded by trees. It was borderline magical waking up to the sun peeking in through the windows, while enjoying a hot tea in the morning. We even had deer show up in the front yard! That was a special moment. I can't forget about Michelle too, who is such a wonderful host. Very communicative, quick to respond, and really made us feel right at home. Thank you, Michelle. A part of me wishes I could keep this place all to myself, but sharing is caring, so please do yourself a favor and book this cottage. Get away from the hustle and bustle, open a few windows, and let the cool country breeze melt your stress away. You will not regret it. I cannot recommend Cedar Hill Cottage enough, and I'm already looking for a reason to go back. Will definitely be seeing you again soon.
