«My only concern is the safety of the steps I had to navigate to and from the condo. There were railings for some of the steps, but not all, and those were scary. I'm 76 and not nearly as steady or confident as I used to be. I took my walking sticks and that's how I navigated the rail-less steps. These are only 2 or 3 steps long, but with no railing to steady me, they are a horrifying fall risk. I brought the sticks so that I could hike up and down dunes on my way to the lakeshore. «Good condo in Homestead village. A bit dated, as mentioned in other reviews, but overall a good place to stay with a great view. Very comfortable for 2 couples as each "suite" is on opposite sides of the unit, providing good privacy. A bit tricky finding your way to the beach. Loved the location as we were doing a color tour and wanted something outside of Traverse City (too busy). This place is 10 minutes from Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes and 30 minutes from Fishtown and Sutton's Bay.  ...

«Great location, right in the center of the village, such an adorable area. Just a two minor issues. The first was that the toaster did not work. We tried two different outlets and it would not start/stay down. Needs to be replaced. The other is that the smoke alarm is crazy sensitive. Every time we used the oven, it would go off. There was no smoke in the air but it would still randomly go off. Not a deal breaker, just a little annoying...I guess sensitive is better than not working! Furniture ...
