«My only concern is the safety of the steps I had to navigate to and from the condo. There were railings for some of the steps, but not all, and those were scary. I'm 76 and not nearly as steady or confident as I used to be. I took my walking sticks and that's how I navigated the rail-less steps. These are only 2 or 3 steps long, but with no railing to steady me, they are a horrifying fall risk. I brought the sticks so that I could hike up and down dunes on my way to the lakeshore. «We enjoyed staying at this property. It is a great location within Crystal Mountain, and is walkable to the pools, restaurants, and ski hill. The property was well appointed. The only reason for a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating is that we were unable to use the stove top for cooking as it immediately began to smoke due to food build up. It would be fine with a good deep cleaning of the range. We would definitely stay here again.»

«Good condo in Homestead village. A bit dated, as mentioned in other reviews, but overall a good place to stay with a great view. Very comfortable for 2 couples as each "suite" is on opposite sides of the unit, providing good privacy. A bit tricky finding your way to the beach. Loved the location as we were doing a color tour and wanted something outside of Traverse City (too busy). This place is 10 minutes from Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes and 30 minutes from Fishtown and Sutton's Bay. ...

«The apartment was spotless and I am very fussy. It was quiet and so comfortable. We loved the deck looking over the little lake and saw a few boaters fishing in it. Great communication with Jeff but we didn't need to contact him much because everything was as it should be.
