«Being within walking distance of family was key for us in renting this place. Other than the quirky heating system and the noisy washer and dryer it was a very clean and cozy place. We loved the coffee and candy and the bed was very comfortable. »

«The Cabana is a deliberately curated step into the tropics. Truly delightful. Owing to the cold PNW winters, the heated floors were a real treat! We will definitely bookmark this property for the next time we find ourselves in Seattle. Easy street parking but a great location - close to all the things. »

«I grew up in Bremerton, but have lived away from Washington for a long time. I used to stay with family when I'd return, but as I get older that's more complicated (it's probably me, but it could be them). This place is a dream. Cozy in every sense of the word. The fireplace, the fluffy perfect bed, the walk-in shower and serene location in the woods. I'd talk about the beach but that's not really a feature in the winter time (see fireplace). Great for cozy couple or single getaway.»

He left a personalized note with some chocolates for our check-in, and made sure to give us privacy for our stay. «I'd like to say I really enjoyed the stay. Overall, I was pleased.The rooms were clean and well maintained. And the location is near downtown which was nice.We didn't hear anything from our host during our trip.But you are in the basement, and so you will hear foot steps above you, along with the dog running around, and the TV. All are expected in a lodging.My wife did not like as much from the start. I guess I didn't tell her that this was a basement apartment, maybe I didn't read the listing ...
