«I can’t express enough how fantastic the service, food, entertainment and overall quality of the resort. We were blown away! I want to say a special thank you to Melissa the GM, her attentiveness and customer care was exceptional. Massive shout out to chef Juan, chef Kevin and Chef Derrick - we requested authentic Jamaican cuisine and these guys delivered to such a high standard and made our stay so special. Cannot recommend this place enough. 10/10 all round»

«The comfort was outstanding. The staff was extremely pleasant. The thing that was most unpleasant was the construction going on during daytime hrs, so very loud and annoying. When you get of a long flight the ladt thing you want is so much noise beneath your balcony while trying to rest. We FINALLY got our room changed after four days of this, to only be moved to room where the bathroom sink was stopped up!»

«It’s a beautiful and a small resort with excellent service. Our butlers Robert and Anthony were fantastic. The hotel management Omar and Sheldon were very helpful. There is a regular shuttle service to other nearby Sandal resorts if you wanted more entertainment or food options. Our only issue was that the bathrooms need modernising. It’s great for golf players too. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. »

"Overall nice, somewhere between resort and hotel. But look on Expedia, not their own website! Family of 4, with 2 kids (aged 4 and 7) Pros: Doctors Cave Beach is very nice, with good snorkelling. Good food, with plenty of options. Nice pool and hot tub. Nice rooms. Pool table, gym and chess board. Cons: Don’t trust their website… There is no kids club / kids room. There are some activities for kids on some days, but they might or might not happen. There is a schedule of activities, but less than half actually happened. Kids excited for dance lessons, but the instructor never showed. Same for other activities. And no one could tell us in advance if they were happening. Website also talks about several restaurant. There is only 2. The main buffet, and a grill open from 12-17. Pluss a café for some cakes/fruits. There is no Italian restaurant as advertised. Also, there is a road between the hotel and the beach. Not really a problem, but they give the impression that they are on the beach. You only get a free pass to use Doctor Cave Beach daily. Overall it was a nice stay, but as kids club/kids room was one of the reason we chose it, I can only give 3 stars. "
