«We needed a room at the last minute when it was decided to enter the Redding marathon.The room and location were exactly what we needed. The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is walking distance to a revitalized part of the city with a beautiful little park but just under a mile to get there. «The staff are friendly, the rooms lovely and comfortable. The sound proofing is excellent so our stay was really peaceful. They have a nice breakfast, but we received a text informing us that the restaurant attached was open and serving. We were quite hungry and looking forward to that but were disappointed to find they closed early. Overall we were happy with the hotel and would stay again.»

«My band was on tour and we stopped here for the night on drive between SF and Portland. We arrived after dark but it was easy to find. Fast check in, clean rooms and helpful front desk person directing us where to get food. When we got up the next morning we realized just how cool of a spot it was with pretty views. Cool little coffee shop walking distance. Perfect stay, can’t wait to come back. »

«The young lady in the dinning room was just excellent! I regret not recalling her name but, it was on 1/1/16 & 1/17/2025. She practically ran around to make sure our food was served hot. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating from check in on 1/15/2025 until check out on 1/18/2025. »

«Good location close to HWY 99 Most rooms have been redone, but I always seem to find issues. Everything from toilets that run continuously to chips on the bathroom counters that could cut u and loose shower towel bars. Lounge food is mediocre don't order the pizza. Beer selection is good with local IPA's. I would probably give this hotel a 6/10 and Ive slept in a lot of hotels as a travel nurse. I like it because of the location.»

«We had no good experience with this place. The cottage wasn't ready even when we arrived late. The next day the shower wasn't working and we had no hot water for a long while. We were traveling with a toddler so the lack of water made everything more complicated. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine because the cottage wasn't ready on time, but the overall experience is still bad.»
