We make sure that when you arrive the property is clean and ready for you. Check in is at 4pm and checkout a 11am. If you need an early check in just let us know and we will make it work. If during your stay you need anything at all please let us know.

Quaint Cabin in the Woods
We stayed over memorial day weekend and had a great time. There were 4 of us and a dog, yet there was plenty of space to spare. The back porch backs directly up into the woods, and I kept trying to catch glimpse of sasquatch to no avail. The home had abundant towels and blankets, which was a nice thing to not worry about especially when swimming at the lake and having to shower multiple times. Do beware of the GPS, which tries to take you to an adjacent property. There are signs posted telling you where to go, but I missed them on the way in and drove up to the wrong property. I would highly recommend traveling here if you are going to visit the lake. The lake, restaurants and bars, and retail stores are all located within about 15 minutes from the property.

This is an isolated property surrounded by woods and a beautiful natural environment. The house is simple but has character. We enjoyed our stay, would stay again, and highly recommend. Hosts were very responsive.

Beautiful wooded views
The property was very neatly kept. The wraparound deck, and the view from the back was gorgeous! Inside the cabin was very, very clean. It was a little sparse on furniture, and our 17-year-old thought the downstairs would be perfect for a pool table. Ha, ha! Overall a nice place to stay. Can’t say enough good things about our hosts. They were so helpful-letting us in early to get ready for a family wedding. I’m sure Lake Patoka is a beautiful lake to explore.

The property was very clean and pretty. Great place to stay for a weekend in French Lick. Cabin is a little difficult to find when is dark however once we arrived we had a great time.

Cozy retreat
Upon arrival, we immediately adored the quaintness of this cabin in the woods. It was clean & tidy & had a decently stocked kitchen for preparing meals in. Our very favorite was the view off the back deck. Coffee on the deck every morning was so peaceful. There were 6 of us who stayed there & there was plenty of space for everyone. I will say the only thing to note is the stairs to the loft & basement are very narrow spiral stairs. My 73 year old mother had a difficult time trying to navigate them. After one time using them to see different rooms of the cabin, we decided it was best for her safety to just stay on the main floor which was fine as there is a room on the main floor to sleep in. The only small inconvenience was no coffee filters for the provided coffee pot but a quick trip to the local dollar store remedied that. Also, another thing to note is the road coming up the cabin is gravel and there is a bit of a steep incline turning onto the road. Our front wheel drive van was struggling getting enough traction on the gravel to get up it the first night. The 2nd time we had to navigate it we swung a little wider turning on the road and they definitely helped. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again. We loved the location & quiet of the cabin. Communication with our hosts was top notch.

Anniversary getaway
This A frame was the perfect location to all the activities we wanted to do ( Wilstem & Patoka Lake Winery, etc). It was set perfectly in a wooded lot so the wrap around porch gave us peace and quiet. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Our host was wonderful and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and was available to answer any questions. We plan on returning with our family! Thanks!

Beautiful VRBO!
After a day on the lake, this place was perfect for our overnight stay! Plenty of room, had everything we needed to prepare a wonderful steak dinner and just hang out. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here!

Tranquil Hideaway
This is the perfect getaway spot. The property is well manicured and very clean. The property owners are very easy to communicate with and they even have a little welcome surprise for you upon arrival! We had 5 teens spending the weekend at Holiday World amusement park before heading back to school. They were all smiles and loved their separate spaces to hang out. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again!!

Lake Trip
This is our second stay at this cabin this month. This is the nicest rental cabin at Patoka lake. We will always book this cabin when it’s available. Owners are awesome to work with and remarkable hospitality!
