«We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. »

«The property, the location and amenities were all perfect. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for a family of 4. Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. However, a few things we were not happy with. - Check in time actually 5pm not 4pm as advertised on VRBO which is really late in our opinion. - Check out time actually 9am not 10am as advertised on VRBO which is really early especially as the guest is required to have a family of ...

«This was our second stay at the Carthouse and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The accomodation is ideal, with lots of space and room to relax, especially after long walks! The wine and chocolate was a lovely touch. Hope to return again!»

«A wonderful property for families, children and dogs. Well equipped, beds soooo comfortable. Bathroom/shower areas look lush and work well. The horses in the next field a treat for us all. Next time a longer stay to settle in and explore the area more. Cardigan is lovely, beaches so picturesque. Moody Cow for Sunday Lunch.......the best Ive ever had!! Cant wait to return. «Overall the property was spacious, for the most part clean and we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a number of things that needed attention with the shower being the main one. We have reported our issues to the management company in case they were not aware of them but have not had a reply as yet. »

«They made us feel really welcome with the welcome pack and made things so easy for us by getting us a welcome bundle with fresh bread milk and eggs and also loads other little things, there little cottage is amazing and they should feel really proud how amazing they have set it out it’s perfect and you can see the effect they have put in to make it perfect and Marty and bev the hosts couldn’t have asked for any thing better thank you for a lovely stay. «Fabulous little getaway. Very peaceful with amazing views over Cardigan Bay. Very comfortable, clean and surprisingly spacious accommodation for 2 of us. Great bistro just a 5 minute walk away and a short drive to the nearest shops, cafes and bars.»

«Lovely location and close to amenities. Barn was presented nicely but not cleaned thoroughly before arrival. Would also have liked a welcome pack with information on property (WiFi, heating instructions) and the nearby area. »

«Lovely stay, only down side was it was chilly… wish I’d brought my slippers. Also there weren’t any walks (that we could find) on our doorstep. A shame when there is no secure garden (I was aware of) and you have a dog to walk. Also the bathroom location wasn’t ideal. Facilities were great, was clean and well looked after and we had a great stay there. Beds were comfy. Welcome shortbread on arrival too… thank you! Would stay again »

«Beautiful quaint little property. A welcome change from the general pace of life. We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful cottage, Christina who owns the property was the perfect host. There was plenty of room for our dog to run around in the outside and even though it was November it was clear that the gardens were amazing. We hope to go back again soon when the weather is better.Thank you Christina for making us so welcome we really appreciate it.»

«My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O. ...
