Stay if you love disaster,heat and mosquito bites
This hotel was a disaster. Rooms were full of mosquitos due to which I got sick and vomited a lot and could not sleep whole night.. Even though the temperature was 100F, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning and electricity went off almost every hour. Even hand wash soap was not provided. I booked for two nights, but checked out after one night. The owner made us wait for 5 hours in the non air-conditioned lobby and when he showed up, he was very rude in behaviour The owner told us that I have to cancel the remaining night thru Hotels.com, he will not do anything.
The picture showed a beautiful villa, but in reality it was the most filthy place I ever stayed during my seven days stay in Sri Lanka.
I will never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel at any cost.
I even called Hotels.com to cancel the reservation, the call was forwarded to call centre in El Salvador where the employee and the Supervisor
told us that the server was down, he can't do anything, call after 3 hours.
I moved to a better hotel where the owner was very accommodating, but due to last minute booking I had to pay more price than normal.
This hotel stay made me and my family members sick and had to seek medical treatment on our return to India.
