Our room, on the second floor of the pool building is badly in need of a renovation. The window shades were bent and broken, the finishes on the wooden furniture were peeling off. The shower head was not adjustable and it was like needles powerfully hitting your skin. There was no fan in the bathroom & not enough electrical plug ins on wall behind bed for charging a phone. The carpet in the room was stained and grout in bathroom was dirty. One of the bathrobes was torn and worn out. We were disappointed in the room but the restaurant was exceptional! Darlene was friendly and fun. She suggested an excellent new wine that i ordered after a tasting sample. We each shared some funny personal stories as we recognized each other from previous visits. The mineral pool was clean and refreshing. The floor of the pool has hard strips like electrical cords that we kept stepping on and that hurt my feet. Maybe stretch marks of the liner. I wish they still had a gift shop with beautiful bathing suits, cover-ups, sandals & souvenirs.
Front desk and cleaning staff were personable, nice people. We had a super time despite the downsides, we even enjoyed laughing about the problems.
