«My son and I usually stay in Chimney Rock- but due to the destruction of Chimney Rock that was not possible- we decided to stay in Lake Lure to help the community. This Lake House was such a cool change for us. There is a whole floor devoted to games like pool, ping pong and foosball. My 14 year old loved this. We spent a lot of time playing. «Beautiful home! The family and i thought this place came with a hot tub but unfortunately we misunderstood this (it was our fault) We loved the view and how kind of secluded it is from other houses. We reached the owner and they were so quick to respond to any of our questions. The kitchen had almost everything needed pots, pans, utentils and even seasonings, if youre a coffee lover like me they have plenty of that. The stove top was not as clean, it seemed like the people that clean didnt try ...

«Kirk’s place was exactly what we wanted. He was very responsive, had an issue with water and he fixed it right away. Everything was wonderful. The only drawback was very little water pressure. The hot tub was nice and hot and the cabin was very well stocked! We will be back! »

«I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy cabin. I had a black bear show up unexpectedly but it was awesome to see it in the wild. It sniffed around and left peacefully ha. The cabin was nice and quiet while still a close drive to downtown Asheville. There's also a really nice hiking trail just up the road. »

«We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful little house. We loved looking at the stars from the hot tub, playing games, eating breakfast out on the deck, and eating at many of the wonderful local restaurants (Ole Guacamole and Blue Ridge Biscuit Kitchen were amazing!) There are so many pretty parks and ways to enjoy nature as a family. We hope to return ASAP, highly highly recommend!»

«We had an initial issue trying to figure out the tv but after that all was right again! I believe the cabin exceeded my expectation. It was roomier than I expected and had everything that we could possibly need for our stay. Only about 15 minutes from everything but the location was quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the front porch early in the morning was a delight. There is a high probability that we'd consider staying here again!»

Lots of activities close by to keep yourself busy but also a great big porch if you just want to hang out and enjoy the views! Would definitely recommend! »
