«We had an emergency last minute booking and had to stay in Launceston one more night. This place is looking tired and worn and should be gutted and renovated (or demolished). The 'spa' bath had tape over the jet holes but the showerhead gave a warm shower. the towels have seen better days, but the bed was clean and comfortable. This isn't really any more than 3 stars, if I am being generous. However the staff were very informative and polite, and there was parking on site. This was a non smoking ...

«On first appearance it seems like they are upgrading the front of the motel. I believe it was very messy when they bought it and it is still a work in progress. The rooms are immaculate. The view took me straight to our private balcony. Absolutely stunning view straight across the lake to the sea. I’d heard some people caught a kg of prawns in the lake in front of us the day before. «We arrived for our stay in Hobart and waited until 2pm for check in. When we got to Hobart Apartments, there was nobody in reception, so i rang the number on the door. I was then informed that the room was leaking and unavailable for us to stay in and that we should have been informed of this 2 weeks prior but never were. We were basically left stranded with an 8wk old baby and nowhere to stay and when i told them that all she said was "google somewhere else". Very poor service from Hobart ...
