'La Fontana' er en flott nyoppusset Menorcan villa med stort privat basseng, stor terrasse med spisebord og stoler. Det er klimaanlegg i alle rom.

Vi har nylig kjøpt og dekorert denne eiendommen til høyeste standard, så det er nytt for leiemarkedet.

Det er 3 doble soverom, 2 bad, fullt utstyrt kjøkken med stue / spisestue.

Det er en 3 min spasertur til Punta Prima Beach, deilige lokale restauranter (serverer en rekke Menorcan spesialiteter og fersk sjømat), barer, apotek og supermarkeder.

Det er en nydelig terrasse, med utsikt over bassenget, er fullt møblert med et stort bord og 8 stoler for å nyte fresco å spise.

Det store bassenget er omgitt av solsenger og parasoller for å nyte lat dager i Middelhavssolen. I tillegg er det en mursteingrill for å lage mat på Menorcan-festene.

Inne er alle de vakkert dekorerte rommene i en etasje med et fullt utstyrt kjøkken, 3 doble soverom (en King size-seng, en konge og et tomannsrom).

Stuen har 2 sofaer, hvorav den ene er en sovesofa som tillater 2 ekstra soveplasser og et bord med stoler for innendørs spising.

Det er en TV med tilgang til internasjonale kanaler via Amazon Prime Fire-pinne, Wifi, Netflix, et musikkanlegg med CD, radio og en base for å koble til smarttelefoner.

Alle møbler og møbler er helt nye, stilige og av høy kvalitet. Det er også et utvalg av originale kunstverk.

Nice property in a handy location
A lovely spacious and comfortable property in a handy location for Punta Prima beach and shops & cafés, which are just a few minutes walk down the road, and also not far from the main route for buses if needed. Some other reviews mention the photos are out of date : we found the property as expected, the bathrooms and terrace have been refreshed since. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, nice showers with plenty of hot water, and the bedroom aircon was handy for the night time heat! The kitchen is small but has everything needed, although annoyingly the fridge wasn’t working on arrival but the owner replaced it as soon as possible. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. Outside the pool and terrace are nice places to be (the pool was regularly serviced) and pretty quiet, and the kids were surprised to find tortoises living in the garden! Overall we’d recommend La Fontana and would be happy to visit again

Excellent villa near the beach
The villa is in a quiet location a short walk from the beach, restaurants and two supermarkets. It’s a bit of a walk back up the hill which might be tough if you have mobility issues. The house has everything you need and was spotless and well looked after. There are 6 restaurants and a beach bar on the beach but I think you may need a car if you’re staying longer than a week as you’d get a little bored with the same places. The fridge needs looking at or replacing as it was struggling to keep anything cold, even in May, and there is only one parasol at the pool so if more than two people wanted shade, they’d have to sit on the patio. We took the number 92 bus to Mahon for the day which was a nice day out and only €1.80 single. They don’t take cards on the bus or notes bigger than a €10. Oh and there is a family of tortoises living in the flower bed so please watch out for them. One of them keeps trying to escape under the gate and the two baby ones can get stuck upside down so please have a little look around every so often to make sure they’re OK.

Pictures are historic - Villa now looking tired and worn
Certainly no longer a stunning villa; kitchen cupboard doors damaged, roof top terrace dirty and covered in leaf debris our entire stay, mildew and stain on tile grout and shower fixings, rusty toilet roll holders etc - just looking tired. Be advised if you stay early in the season as we did you will need some warm clothing if you want to sit in the lounge area. We had a couple of nights at around 8°c and when we enquired about any heating for the lounge the host advised that we drive to a garage to see if we can get any firewood for the fire! So after having to drive some distance to a garage there's also the possibility that they might not stock firewood anyway! Unbelievable. Luckily we had a rental car for our stay but anyone not doing so is likely to get cold.

Merveilleux séjour!!
La maison est fantastique! Chambres spacieuses, literie très confortable, climatisation dans les chambres, commode, penderie, cintres suffisants (ce qui est rare!).Parfait. Cuisine tous ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner un minimum, lave vaisselle petit mais très fonctionnel pour 4 personnes. Plaque de cuisson, congélateur et frigo très bien. La partie du bas du frigo ne garde pas trop au froid les aliments je trouve par contre. Lave linge très bien, il faudrait c'est plus de pince à linge pour étendre le linge. Salon très bien, avec 2 canapés, bonne taille de télévision, c'est très bien. Excellent débit de wifi! La piscine est très bien, les transats top, il y en avait pour tous le monde. Mention très spéciale pour les draps de bains très grand, doux et qui sentait très bon, plein de serviettes à disposition, c'est cool. Les salles de bains avec douche italienne (les 2) sont beaucoup mieux que sur les photos, il y a de la place pour poser ses affaires. Nous avons adoré! La plage est au bout de la rue, à 2 mns à pieds. Il y a des restaurants, des petits supermarchés, on est à 15mns de Mahon et 20 mns de l'aéroport. Pas de passage d'avion, l'impasse est très calme. Je recommande vraiment ce logement! David a été un excellent hôte. Milles mercis

Familienurlaub in Punta Prima
Eine tolle Villa mit Pool, perfekt für den Familienurlaub. David war total hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation lief bequem per WhatsApp. Eine kaputte Pfanne und das Babybett wurden direkt ausgetauscht und David hat noch Tore an der Terrasse installieren lassen, damit die kleinen Kinder nicht alleine zum Pool können. Die Lage ist ebenfalls super. Ca 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand sowie zu den nächsten Restaurants und zwei kleinen Supermärkten. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Fabulous villa
La Fontana was the perfect villa for our stay in Menorca. The outside areas (terrace, balcony and pool) were especially good. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome. The villa was well equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The location of the property was ideal as only a short walk to the beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants. The bus service to Mahon runs hourly and is very easy and reliable. Taxis are also easy to book and arrived quickly. Overall a wonderful fabulous family holiday in a superb villa. Thank you!

Great Property, how to make the experience even better…
As per previous reviews the owners have done a great job decorating the property, beds and bathrooms were terrific ( king size and excellent mattress. Location - excellent location for beach and town Restaurant’s - Restaurant “Casa Fermin”was excellent ( not the best name) - Sushi, Asian, plus high end European food. Aire restaurant on the beach - great decor and nice for lunch. The other restaurants were very average. Beach- unfortunately the beach was not as beautiful as in the North of Menorca, the sea was often rough ( our kids 8 and 10 were put off- despite being strong swimmers. Check in - the owner will not allow anyone in before 4, not even to leave luggage inside the grounds ( which is secure as entrance fully gated). We arrived at 1.30pm and went to a restaurant, before walking up a steep hill laden with four cases. Not the best welcome ( the owner had asked us to stay away until 4.30-5 as works were still be carried out, this we did not accept). I would recommend a outside pool shower, which we have had at other rentals in the past. Otherwise a great house/ set up. During our stay we had no issues or reason to contact the owner, all very simple. Check out 10 am Would we return ? Inflexible check in experience ( never encountered this at other rentals) and the beach would deter us from coming back.

We had a great time in Menorca. Punta Prima is a nice little town with plenty of restaurant options. We had a car so explored the island a little, thanks to the useful recommendations left by David. David was super responsive. The Villa was clean and a short walk to the beach. We would stay again.

Perfect - exactly as described
Villa is very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed. We choose this villa because we wanted a holiday without a car. We used taxis to/from the airport. There are several grocery shops and restaurants a few minutes walk from the villa, as is the beach. The bus service to Mahon is excellent so we had dinner there one evening and hired a boat from Mahon port for one day. Overall, thoroughly recommend!

La Fotana is a lovely villa
La Fontana is a beautiful clean villa, with everything we could need for our holiday. The pool, air conditioning in the bedrooms and covered veranda was a great escape from the heat. The fluffy towels and comfortable beds were a great addition. The restaurants, beach and 2x supermarkets are a 5- and 10-minute walk away. A larger supermarket is available and can be accessible by car. We did not feel the need to hire a car as we planned to eat out most nights and the local supermarkets had everything we needed. We had a lovely meal at La Oveja Negra restaurant , but our favourite meal was from Chiringuito Aire. This had a lovely view , live music and very friendly manager. David the owner introduced himself via Whats App prior to us leaving the UK and was very helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, there was only one return flight from Mahal airport, and it was at 8pm. We were concerned spending the whole day at the beach as it too exposed in the sun, but we managed to use the facilities at the Bimbola Hotel for 25 Euros (pool, shower and restaurant ). We had a great holiday and would definitely recommend this villa. Thank you, David, for making us feel so welcome.

La Fontana - Punta Prima, Menorca.
A good sized ground floor villa with a very good pool to the front of the property. Air con in all three bedrooms, an adequately sized kitchen, two bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Handy for the local beach and restaurants and a short drive to the next town and not far to Mahon. A great place to use as a base for looking around the island or to just enjoy the place itself. Highly recomended.

Lovely stay in Punta Prima
Had a lovely stay at Helen and David’s villa in Punta Prima. The description and photographs were very accurate. The beds were super comfortable with good quality towels and linen. The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, cutlery and pans for anyone preferring to cook for themselves. Literally a quick walk downhill to the bars restaurants and supermarket (uphill back obviously). We tried several restaurants during our seven night stay and had a good meal on every occasion. We didn’t hire a car but caught the bus into Mahon and then explored different places using the local bus service, which we found to be very well priced and efficient. Mahon is a lovely place to visit and took a boat trip around the harbour. All in all a great stay and would happily rebook this accommodation when returning to Menorca.

Wonderful Villa
We spent a wonderful week here with the family. The villa was spacious and very clean and had everything you could need. The pool was wonderful and we all had a brilliant holiday. David was fantastic with communicating and always answered any questions we had and even provided a villa and local guide prior to our stay. Only 20 mins from the airport and lovely and peaceful but only a 5 minute walk from the beach and local restaurants I particularly recommend El Faro, we will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Fabulous!
Had a wonderful stay at David and Helen’s lovely little villa. It was just perfect for us (two adults and two teenagers). The location was brilliant. Beach, supermarket and shops all within a short (downhill) walk. We did hire a car and so glad we did as there were so many fabulous beaches to visit. We also took a boat trip from Ciutadella, which was amazing! We had a fabulous meal in Binibeca at a restaurant called Bambu. It was a tad pricey, but worth it! Whilst we had a couple of issues during our stay, David, Helen, Jordi and Melissa went above and beyond to resolve them for us and it didn’t affect our stay at all. Would highly recommend this perfect villa. Oh, we also had the pleasure of meeting Trev the tortoise, who we were loathed to leave behind!! Shame we didn’t meet his siblings! Thanks guys, you rock!

Great villa, good location
We had excellent communication with the owners who were very helpful and advised us on transport, restaurants etc before we arrived. The villa was clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms were a good size with excellent mattresses and aircon. There were enough good quality bathroom towels provided and the kitchen was well-equipped. The washing machine was easy to operate. We loved sitting outside by the pool having breakfast/lunch and the pool itself was very clean and a good size. The location of the villa is excellent and a short walking distance to the local shops and the beach. We enjoyed nice meals at the local restaurants on the seafront too. All in all a hugely enjoyable experience and we highly recommend this property.

Brilliant, peaceful location near to sandy beach and lovely pool
We loved our stay here and the kids really enjoyed the pool. The villa is a short walking distance to the lovely Punta Prima beach and we found the “Aire” beachside restaurant to be very reasonable. David was always very helpful with any queries we had. It was exceptionally hot due to the heatwave so the only improvement we would suggest would be to have air conditioning in the living areas. The bedrooms were lovely and cool - and spacious. Thank you again for our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. Fab location in Central Punta Prima, a short walk to White sand beach and restaurant strip. Host David always helpful and easily contactable, quick response to any queries. Booked again for next year!

Beautiful Villa... Great Location
This is the first time we have ever rented a villa and to be honest it was so much better than staying in a hotel. This villa is in a great location. This villa is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is well decorated and it is spotlessly clean. The outside area is perfect with a beautiful garden and a very inviting pool. Safety gates are in place to stop any little ones getting to the pool and they also provided us with a high chair, cot and baby bath. So it is very child/baby friendly. Location is great. Just a short walk down the hill and you are at the restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. There is also a nearby bus stop for the regular bus service into Mahon. The hosts, David & Helen are regularly in touch and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. If you are looking for a quiet resort to have a relaxing time with the family then I would definitely recommend this villa

A great property in an ideal location
The villa is lovely, it is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It is located a very short walk from the beach, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and market stalls nearby. The pool is also very clean and well maintained, and David and Helen were helpful and responsive hosts. Menorca is stunning, and we have had a wonderful holiday here.
