«We love this space so much that it’s our second time staying here. Right on the river, isolated and private with just one house next door and very very peaceful. Took the dog and he swam from sun up to sun down. Just be careful when the river starts to flow, it is fast. But even just sitting on the dock watching him swim was enough for us. Already planning a trip next.»

«Beautiful, newly constructed home with so many amenities! Everything in the house was first rate. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, no overcrowding. The kids loved the beach area, playing pickleball, cooling off in the pool and renting a pontoon boat at the marina.»

«We spent a long weekend hiking the nearby state parks. This location is great! The neighborhood was cute and the views on the river were stellar. The Red Dog Grill was close and convenient with good food/drinks. My only complaint was lack of a place to hang coats, etc.»

This house worked well with plenty of bedrooms for adult children couples with ensuite bathrooms. Large bunk room for children, in door game/activity space and lots of outdoor space with a great pool for activity. The kids loved the over-the-top palace feel of the mansion. «The house seemed new and very clean. It has a nice view of the water from the porch. We liked that we could get into town in about 5 minutes and were about 20 minutes from Starved Rock. There is a nice restaurant in the subdivision if you wanted to get out for food or a drink but not wanting to drive into town. No complaints at all.»
