«Second time staying here and although the weather was, again, less than great, it was still a great time and the units and overall space are still really well maintained. Surat Bay is accessible and, further along, so is cannibal bay. Owaka nearby is also a lovely spot for an hour or two, with a solid restaurant, great coffee place, superb book shop and quaint little museum and community space. It is a beautiful spot, far from the world where all you'll hear are birds, the sea and wind moving ...

«Pleasant bedroom/sitting area. Did not realise you had to literally go outside to get to bathroom, kitchen and fridge freezer when we booked! The freezer was crammed so we could not put our bits in. It was really cold the night we stayed so hubby got really cold going to bathroom in the night!😬 Ownwer ery nice and friendly.»

«This was a great base camp for exploring the Catlins. Beds were clean and comfortable, although I felt I had to wipe down the kitchen before using it. The property was amazing! Beautiful views of the estuary, a peaceful place to walk in the mornings, and good view of stars at night. »
