«The hotel is currently being renovated, so the reception is a bit of a make-shift affair in the breakfast room. Toast and hot breakfast the English way cooked at your request, preserves and cereals, milk, yoghurt and apple/orange juice provided on a table. «Property was really nice. We stayed in the Ironbridge room with an amazing view. The host jules was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was lovely. Bed clean and comfy and the shower was nice and powerful.»

«We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable.»

«Hosts made us welcome as soon as we entered. So much tea and coffee available and no short cuts for anything. Endless breakfast and whole place spotless and modern. We will be back thank you both.»

«Andy and Maria were so welcoming. The breakfasts are great and the location is good for the LowTown and High Town. Maria is a mine of information when it comes to local history.»

«Fabulouso!! Ruth was a lovely hostess, very warm and welcoming. This period property was very well maintained, cosy and decorated tastefully. Amazing bathroom, comfortable bed, Welsh cakes a very nice touch and a breakfast full of fine ingredients - down to the homemade marmalade which we bought a jar! We will most definitely return!»

«I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. »

«This is not a hotel or a B&B, its a room with shared Bathroom/Toilet. There is no check-in but a key-code which is not a problem. Check-in is at 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00 Apart from the front of the building we never saw anything remotely Tudor in our room. You will be asked for a deposit but to be honest there is nothing in the room worth £100.00. The Bed was clean and not uncomfortable and the owner is helpful when you ask for anything. »
