«An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean and well looked after. Well equipped with beautiful views I cannot recommend this home and location enough. Just a simple 80 minute ride from Auckland; it's easy to get to and remote enough to feel like you are away from the rush of everyday life. Matakanna, the closest village is about a 10 minute drive with some good local amenities. The property owner was a delight to work with and were flexible when I wanted to check-in early. Overall ...

«You instantly relax when you arrive here. The view, the harbour, the quiet and the serenity are perfect for a getaway. «From the moment we booked the accommodation to the time when we departed, it was a wonderful experience. Although we didn't get a chance to meet Robyn, the host, she was always available to communicate and gave us lots of info. The place is excellent, well layed out and beatifully furnished. we were 7 mature ladies who wanted to just chill out and that was exactly what we did. Would highly recommend a stay. We will certainly endevour to return in the not too distant future.»

«The house is spacious, the carpet is lovely and soft, very well equipped kitchen, enough comfy seats for us and nice big garage with a few fun extras thrown in such as bikes and boogie boards. Could have done with two more fans so every room has one on these humid summer nights. Would be helpful to specify the cot is a portacot, not a full, solid cot. Also we could have done with a harness on the highchair. It was great to have shade on the outside dining table but needed shade for the outside ...

«Lovley long weekend escape during the school holidays. This is a lovely place that would be great in summer etc with a nice deck and outdoor areas. We were there in July school holidays and it rained most of the time however house was nice and warm (including heaters for kids rooms) and a handy but quiet location. Would recommend.»
