«We loved the location and the rooms,we had a room overlooking the River Dee. The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking. Just unfortunate the restaurant was closed (we did know about this) Overall we would stay again.»

«A good starting point for sightseeing in case you are driving. The castles in the area (Rhuddlan, Conwy, Grwych) or Llandudno er just a short drive away. Also it is next to nothing from the highway. Clean and quiet rooms (we got a room in the annex), not an overpriced restaurant right at the hotel next to it. Would return.»

«Clean bright comfortable rooms, joining a modern well run pub but not suffering from any additional noise. Secure car park. All set in a scenic location. »

«Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you »

«This property had the potential to be excellent but minor detail such as shower floor not closing properly and shower rail and loo roll holder loose. Ordered Lamb steak but had to send back as inedible, lady in restaurant was very good and I went for the Steak & Ale Pue instead, which was excellent. Bar staff not very attentive, two lots of customers in restaurant took glasses back to bar on way out and offered their thanks but weren’t acknowledged.
