«We stayed two nights as part of a fall color trip. As always the hotel was clean. Our stay was good. The location of this hotel is perfect, great jumping off point for all your UP day trips. Not that this is a big deal, but the receptionist who checked us in was wearing sweatpants, a little unprofessional if you ask me. However that did not have any bearing on how good our stay was. »

«Staff was very friendly! Rooms were standard, and had basic amenities plus a microwave, mini fridge and safe. Spacious bathroom. The room had two access doors - one from an outside balcony and one interior door, which is nice is winter or bad weather. The room I stayed in had a door to a shared room and you could hear the people in the other room through it, so that wasn’t ideal. «Nice little place with alot of old touches. Motel was nuilt on 1951 so we enjoyrd some of the rustic touches. We were there for a concert, so only slept there but it was worth the cost. »

«It was exactly what me and my wife were looking for. We stayed here for our honeymoon and after all the wedding planning and chaos, this cabin was a perfect recharge station for us. I booked 2 nights, but I wish I would've booked it longer. It was peaceful and a nice change of pace for us. We are planning on making it a yearly tradition going forward.»
