«As always the cabin was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Secluded and the only noise heard was the song birds. The hot tub was perfect and the fire pit was great when it was too rainy for the hot tub. See you again in the fall.»

«Overall an average experience except for a few things, contact person did not call back or answer my text regarding hairdryer missing or open the garage door. The Keurig was not working , TV was not set up . The place was clean, great location, quiet and safe neighborhood. This place has the potential to be an awesome experience if attention is paid to the small details.»

«This was honestly everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful landscape, river access, plenty of space at the Captains Lodge to relax and enjoy yourself or play games with the family. We enjoyed the entire stay! Internet was not great, but also we were fine with unplugging and just enjoying the nature. «The location was minutes from Skyline Drive and we were close to tons of hiking. Front and back yard were both fenced and great for my niece and my dogs. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Only suggestion is a bigger couch or more seating in the living room. It was a little tight trying to relax at night in front of the TV.»

Definitely a great find when traveling when another couple, as both Master Suites were amazing, no need to flip a coin for the best room, LOL. «Me and my friend came down for the weekend to hike through SNP. The little red barn was the perfect spot to stay a few nights. The place was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend checking out the caverns nearby as well. They were spectacular.»

«We had a great time spending a long holiday weekend here. It was relaxing and peaceful and perfect for what we needed. However I would say the place needs some work and the owner should put some money back into it. The directv barely works and the internet is non existent but we made due without it.
