«And we're looking forward to our eighth. Everything about this log cabin on the river is right. Peter is a gracious host. The guy you'd want for a neighbor back home. The property is immaculate. The view from porch and patio is blissful. The neighborhood is quiet, but groceries, dining and sightseeing are nearby. Mostly, though, we just love to sit with the river in view, read and talk.»

«We are four adult sisters, 60+. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed for a good stay. It’s located right on the water and so convenient to all the sightseeing we wanted to do. I would highly recommend as our stay far exceeded our expectations. »

«We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.»

«We loved our week-long stay in this well-appointed cabin! We woke up to the seagulls every day, took some nice walks in the woods at nearby nature preserves, went to 2 of Maine’s prettiest lighthouses, and enjoyed lots of lobster. The only drawback is that most restaurants are a good drive away and need a bit of planning in the evening. The cabin is comfortable and the two living areas are nice for a variety of indoor activities. There is also good engagement from the owners who supplied a nice ...

«Great location. Very old camp that was pretty clean despite the age...except for the carpeting. Walkway into the camp just an uphill, rocky path. Quite hazardous, especially if wet. Also challenging to get luggage up, especially for older adults or anyone with mobility issues Needs improvement»
