«Large rooms with minimal furniture for a refreshing space to unwind, the staff is always super kind, the rooms are clean, it’s pretty quiet, we can usually find free parking nearby, the coffee is delicious & the restaurant is great too. All around a lovely place to stay. »

«What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence. Tea and coffee is served in the room at 8am followed by a very generous and delicious breakfast. The two of them are a totally charming couple with their great sense of humour, stories and kindness They could give lessons on what true hospitality should be. »

«Oheka Castle successfully gives the feeling of staying at a historic castle (which it is). Our room had a very annoying high-frequency/high-pitch noise, but the front desk had no problem with giving us another room. We were given close to none information at check-in - when we went to ask them what was happening at the Castle, we were told here was a fundraiser and was told to stay away form the dining area. When we checked out, a bus arrived for a tour at the castle and the front desk was busy ...
