«Karen and John were amazing hosts! The house was just perfect for our little family and small dog. We were greeted with fun activity books, sidewalk chalk and bubbles for my daughter… a bottle of wine, fire wood, fixings for s’mores and even a new toy for my dog! They were attentive, available when we needed them and so very kind to me and my family. The kayaks and water toys kept my daughter entertained for hours. «Wonderful location, beautiful views across the lake. House was very clean, downstairs shower had two shower heads, no shortage of hot water when all showers were used. We brought two boats and 8 people show up (one couple and 6 singles). Everything was very comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, nice apple orchard down the road that also sells fire wood ($60 for pickup load). We parked two trucks with trailers and 5 other cars across the street and in the driveway. It’s a dead end road with ...

«Great spot, great doc, great everything. It was a little small. but still nice. The only thing that it lacked was a couple of AC units because it gets very hot if it is a hot humid day especially upstairs in the loft.»

«We had an amazing stay at this property for the week. We are a family of 4 plus a small dog. 2 bedrooms were perfect for the kids upstairs and my husband and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom. Perfect for a small family! We were within an hour to so much and our stay was just perfect. We rented kayaks from Ski Works who were also great. Great trip and we would absolutely rent again! Carol & Gene are great!»

«The property is beautiful and beyond our expectations. The owner has everything you might need. Plenty of towels. Clean linens. The view was outstanding! The neighbor was awesome and helped us out tremendously. The check in was horrible with Vacasa. Not the property owners fault. After driving 14 hours and arriving late in the evening (7:00 pm) the keys were not in the lockbox. Then after contacting Vacasa, we did not receive keys to the property until after 9:00. Once we received the keys ...

«This cottage is in a nice location right off Moultonborough Bay. We rented a pontoon from Melvin Marine, which was very convenient. It was so peaceful this time of year. The weather was great. This 3 Bedroom 2 full Bath Cottage had everything you need to enjoy an extended weekend away on the water. The hosts were very responsive. I would stay here again.»

«The cottage looks as pictured. The two main bedrooms are upstairs and the one bathroom is downstairs which is a bit tricky to find in the middle of the night. Neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and dark at night. Not sure where the beach and boat ramp are. Fireplace heater is lovely. BYO coffee -- no pods provided for even the first day.»

«The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.»

«My daughter and I fell in love with this beautiful place! The cottage has everything we needed to feel at home. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding. Everything we needed to make all of our meals. «The cottage was as described and shown in the listing. On our first day we had issues with heat (both hot water and heating) but John was more than accommodating and had us shifted to another cottage immediately and he in fact bought us lunch for the inconvenience (thank you John!). Our second day of stay was perfect without issues. They have a private beach with boats which you can use. I would recommend booking with them directly.»
