«What a perfect weekend get away for a family wedding in Carbondale at St. Rose of Lima Church and then reception at Birchtown Wedding and Evenings, which as less than 3 miles from the house! The home is spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed views on the porches of the lake and time out by the fire pit. Just lovely!»

«I have had a lot of home rental experiences and this one was stand out for me. Yoel and his team (Dave) did a wonderful job ahead of time and during the weekend to make sure we had what we needed. He proactively reached out and offered to help. He brought my kids scooters from his house during the weekend. It was lovely. The house is beautiful. With capacity to host like 30 people. We had lots of room and our kids were able to run and enjoy themselves. »

«The property was very quaint and cozy for our group of friends gathering. Plenty of room and separate areas for sleeping worked out well. Note the coffee maker did seem to leak a bit on the first day, but not the next day. Overall, we had a great first time VRBO experience!»

«Owner very courteous and responsive.Beautiful view of the lake.Nice rustic style property with many amenities.Clean but not great.Coffee maker didn’t work.Hard to find driveway if not from the area and super steep hill to get up to the property.Be careful coming out exit on a sharp corner where cars speed»

«This house was perfect for our group of 7 guys. The house supplied loads of outdoor activities (cornhole, washers, golf clubs, raft, horsehoes, and many others) to keep you busy. The indoor activities include pool table, shuffleboard, darts and foosball. So, there's plenty to do, regardless of the weather. I rent homes through VRBO fairly often, and i find that most homes are always missing something. Not this home! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make many ...

«Lovely old home that has been nicely renovated. Beautiful kitchen and dining room with plenty of seating for everyone in both areas. Nice living room with huge TV. Beds are comfy, upstairs bathroom has a spa feel to it. We had perfect weather so that we very much enjoyed the deck. Will definitely stay here again to visit my family that lives in the area.»

«Wonderful weekend at a wonderful property! We wanted to escape for some peace and quiet, just the 4 of us, and Blue Elk Lodge delivered! Spacious kitchen/common area, very comfortable beds and linens, and everything we could need or ask for! Only there for a few days, but enjoyed walkabouts on the property, met a very nice neighbor and ventured into Clifford and Carbondale. Would definitely return!!!!! «House is decored like museum with lot of antique look like pieces and lot of furniture. Bed rooms are spead between 2nd floor and basement, most of the bedroom have individual air conditioner except bedrooms in basement. Kitchen is big enough with lot of utensils to cook your own food. Good enough light in the kitchen. Dining table is only for 8 people though total capacity of the house to stay is 23. Overall place is fine for the money you pay and if you are not looking for modern new look ...

«We stayed at Laceyville to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. We had a great time and the house handled all 10 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs without feeling too squishy. Cindy was a wonderful host! She left some local treats for us on the table on arrival and gave us some recommendations for activities in the area. She is very responsive and checked on us via message multiple times throughout our stay. When my grandma thought she forgot her laptop behind Cindy offered to go look for it and ...
