This unique condo is a beachfront property on the world famous West Coast of Maui between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kahana Sunset fronts one of Maui's most romantic white sandy beaches nestled on protected Keonenui Bay offering spectacular views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai.

This property is an ocean front resort with 72 low-rise units on quiet Keonenui Bay where often, the only footprints you see are your own! Each day brings a new beach experience!

Sweet spot for a family vacay
We shared this unit with my parents. It was well equipped. the AC worked well, the unit was clean. Everything listed as an amenity was available and in good working condition. When our flight was changed and we arrived earlier than expected, we were able to check-in early. Hanging out on the balcony at night was lovely. Nothing to do with this unit, but the beach associated with the property is not ideal, especially for children, but Kapalua Beach and Napili Beach are amazing and about a 5 minute drive. The pool is wonderful for children, there is a toddler pool and a bigger pool, so can accommodate very young kids (ours was 2 and loved it) and older kids as well. The property is lovely, well maintained and with plenty of lounge chairs. There is a common area right near the beach with shade and tables where you can see turtles and whales and get a bit of a breeze when it is hot. The communication with the owner was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this unit and appreciate the communication from the owner.

Great getaway!
Spent 9 days on Maui in this lovely condo. It was perfect for our trip! My husband and I traveled together with our best friends and the set up of the unit was great! The common area is comfortable. We loved eating out on the deck and watching the ocean and occasional whale swim by. The separation of the bedrooms worked out well. The host was very great in communicating quickly with us when needed. The beach equipment they had on hand was great! We didn’t have to rent or purchase any while we were there. The complex is very quiet which was nice. The only bummer was that the small bit of beach that you see in the pictures was pretty nonexistent due to the waves. I’m sure that’s because we visited in the winter. We found plenty of beautiful beaches in the area to hang out at and enjoyed watching the sunset, waves, and whales from the grassy area on the well kept grounds.

Whale Watch Trip
The property is in a nice area between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The Napili Market is just around the corner and a number of nice restaurants are very close. The overall property is quiet and very picturesque with a small bay and very small beach. Great spots for snorkeling are close by such as Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay

Amazing Christmas Week
We had an absolute blast on our trip to Maui. Condo was perfect for our family of five. My wife and I and 3 boys ages 14,18 and 21. Had amazing views of the ocean right from our balconies. They also had beach stuff you could use. 3 chairs, 2 boogie boards and a cooler. Used them everyday!

Beautiful condo with stunning views
We had the best stay at this beautiful property. Host was overly accommodating. Everything was exactly as pictured and listed. Beds were super comfortable and clean and the AC worked great. Very clean and organized with helpful directions for everything. We were appreciative to have use of the beach equipment and access to do laundry as needed in the unit. The two decks were the cherry on the top! Highly recommend and would love to come back in the future! Thank you for sharing this hidden gem with us!

Wonderful Condo Perfect for R&R
The condo was clean and well stocked, it was perfect for the three of us to get away from our duties of working in the fire area of Lahaina and to relax and recharge. The location could not have been better, it was close to our base camp of operations, close to the church (Sacred Hearts Mission Church), and close to a shopping area that had a market and restaurants. Especially enjoyed Joey’s for their fish tacos among other things. We give it 5 Stars and would diffidently stay here again!

This condo is decorated beautifully. Everything from the art, the dishes, the bedding-it was all top notch and so wonderfully chosen. The property company was easy and great to work with. We had to move condos and they made it so easy and let us check in as soon as the condo was clean. This condo was better stocked than any of the other condos we saw on property. We would love to stay at this property again.

Sunsets and Turtles!
The property is clean, professionally maintained, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Complex is not in a mega resort so it is very mellow. Manager is so resonsive and gets right back to you with questions or concerns. The sunsets are beautiful and you can watch sea turtles grazing on the aquatic plants off the sea wall.

Absolutely amazing!
We loved our time here! The condo was fully equipped with everything you need, including plenty of beach supplies. We loved the private beach and we were lucky enough to snorkel with turtles there almost daily. The unit was far enough away from the major hotels on Maui (super quiet at night), however it was just a short drive (5-10 mins) to all the main beaches, restaurants and shopping. We loved this aspect regarding location. Everything was super clean and the owners were easy to get in contact with. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay at and will definitely come back in the future!!

A great week long stay
Had a great stay at Jill’s condo with 2 toddlers. The pack n play was much appreciated (though we couldn’t find any sheets for it). The location is great, the pool and direct beach access are a huge plus. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made use of the washer/dryer and A/Cs. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for our family
Wow. Just wow. Such a perfect property and condo for our family of four (a 3 year old and 9 month old.) Our little ones loved the shallow kiddie pool, I loved having access to a beach without having to load up the car. The ocean was rough while we were there so we couldn’t swim in the ocean but the kids still loved running from the waves. I loved that they had a free filtered water machine by the pool so that we could fill up our water jugs. I also loved the herb garden we could use. The unit itself is tastefully updated and clean. It has everything you could need, including beach towels and toys. We will be back to the Hula Hideaway at Kahana Sunset!!

Great condo
Great condo. Had all the amenities we needed. Beds were on the softer side which I liked. Felt homey. Great communication with Jill. Resort felt family friendly. We have stayed in this community a few years now. Something to note is the beach with the condos is receding. A big bummer since it’s a big plus to the community. Not any fault of the condo owners, just something to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again.

Jill, the host of this amazing property went above and beyond to make our stay in Maui absolutely amazing! The home is so clean, comfortable and well thought through.
