We flew into Podgorica which was around a 1hr40 drive away, through many many mountains. Roads are good but I am glad we drove and didnt have a shuttle bus due to the bends and cliff drops.
Ana was extremely welcoming and helpful on our arrival, so we settled very quickly.
The villa was very clean, and we had access to everything we would need (towels, wifi, laundry..etc)
The pool was our absolute highlight and we spent most of our time in it. The villa is right on the lake front, but getting into the lake you had to walk on the shells and stone, which was a bit awkward with the younger child.
Weather was all we could ask for around 36' most days, and there was always somewhere to shelter in the villa garden.
There were plenty of local shops so we didnt have to always drive to the supermarkets.
My only bits of advice to future travellers are take mosquito repellent, and Montenegro is not part of the roam anywhere destinations on the '3' mobile network.
Would highly recommend both Montenegro and this villa to anyone seeking a holiday.
