«The cottage was beautiful, very nicely decorated, and well supplied with everything. Gale was a wonderful host, with lots of helpful suggestions and advice, and interesting local lore as well. We loved the location especially - close to Kailua Kona, but out in the country too! The little road the cottage is on was perfect for daily walks. »

«We loved the ocean view room — it was large with a comfortable bed with hypoallergenic bedding options, and it had lots of storage room for clothing — 2 closets and 4 large drawers. I have stayed in several luxury hotels/ resorts in the past and the friendly service here was beyond compare. Our only minor complaint was that the lighting could be improved in the bathroom, and there was a lack of hooks or drawers in the bathroom. »

«Everything was wonderful! The apartment is comfortable and clean. The provided snacks were excellent and much appreciated. And the view. My goodness, what a view! The patio is the perfect place to sit and watch a sunset. Lisa was very responsive, and we had a lovely day following one of the provided itineraries.»

«This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Understated and tasteful elegance. Fantastic rooms with amazing balconies, world class beach, impeccable service, excellent grounds, fine dining at Manta, but also a beachfront casual bar/restaurant, and Copper Bar in between and our favorite. They have an Asian Art Collection worthy of a museum. This was out of our usual price range, a big splurge, and worth every penny. We are already trying to figure out how to swing it to go back next winter. »
