«Old Tudor hotel in centre of Tewkesbury. Although you got the feel of a Tudor property, the rooms & bathrooms have been refurbished with modern fittings, & walk in showers. No lifts & bedrooms over two floors so there can be quite a few steps. All staff very friendly, helpful & polite. Bar closed 10.30pm even for residents Thursday which was a surprise. Night porter had to let us in & just said most places close 10.30pm mid week. Most hotels I stay at serve to residents, even if it is just ...

«Fantastic location. The room was lovely. Thin walls did mean we could hear anything that was happening in the landing and some inconsiderate guests were yelling up and down the stairs one night when they returned home very late. »

«The stay was fine. The parking was confusing. I pre-paid £5 but parked in the NCP (saying so when I arrived). I have just had a fine from NCP for £40. I now see this is not part of the Zone 10 street parking. The guest house should make this very clear on arrival when they accept payment. »

«Our room named "The appartment" was close to fantastic. It is really an appartment. Big dining room, 2 big sleeping rooms and a very big kitchen. Only bathroom was small. Direct to High street with all restaurants and shops. Parking looked trouble on the apaer, but was easy up on arrival.»

«It was fine, easy to find, near the railway staion and town centre and the best fish and Chip cafe....everything was fine and the hosts were very pleasant. The room was small and a share of the shower next door was what I chose to be as economical as possible. The standard was high and service was hands on and immediate. A very pleasant three days and IT available too, which is important for my business.»

«The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. When in the Cotswolds, I would definitely recommend staying there. »

The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night»
