In going up to my room i opened the door to a hot box- windows and doors shut and no air conditioner on- they knew i would be arriving. I spent the whole night trying to sleep in heat- it was awful. I had no one to show me how the air conditioner works either. i left after one night could not stay »

«The villa was perfect for us. 3 double bedrooms all with ensuite and balconies with amazing views over the sea. Lovely pool which was cleaned during our stay. 15 min walk to the gorgeous beach with the choice of 2 tavernas..with delicious homemade Greek dishes. Maria was very welcoming , meeting us at the airport and leaving a delicious pie for us as well as basic groceries. There was everything we needed in the villa..we would definitely return..»

«Villa Ela is a lovely basement appartment at the edge of the village of Kalligarta on a hill overlooking the sea. The Villa has three appartments with the owners Niko and Gabrielle occupying the top floor appartment. The appartment is well furnished and has a covered outside terrace by the pool which is reseved for guests in the basement apartment. «The property has phenomenal views across the south coast of the island and the sunsets are magical. John and Claire are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever come across. The villa is very well appointed and furnished and set in a hidden location. A car is essential if staying here and you have to manage the steep descent to the villa although you can park at the top if you don't fancy the descent. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa. »
