«Perfect for a family member’s birthday. The back yard is lovely. Had many deer come visit. Even with no leaves on the trees couldn’t make out the road way behind. Peaceful and quiet with so many great restaurants nearby ( and the regular Williamsburg attractions too, but not what we were there for.) Grocery store just a minute up the road, we enjoyed cooking for everyone in the kitchen. The house is well laid out for a small gathering. »

«We never got to stay at the property because Expedia never posted the booking and it is impossible to contact Expedia to resolve any type of issue. I wouldn't recommend that anyone use that site to book a reservation. We were traveling and was 3 hours from home and was turned away from the resort because Expedia had not given the information to the resort. We had to find last minute accommodation and are still trying tl get our money back. »

«My family gathered at this property to celebrate the birthdays of our 2 kids. 3 of us stayed on property and others traveled to join us for the day. Beautiful property! It is clean and well kept. Our labrador retreiver particularly loved the access to water at the next door boat launch. The downstairs apartment has a GREAT game room. We enjoyed playing air hockey, pool, video games, and watching sports on the enormous TV. We also enjoyed the fire pit one of the nights we were there. So ...

«The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The photos do not do the house justice. House step up: Four out of the seven bedrooms had their own bathroom. Each bedroom had a queen bed except the larger room that had 2 queen beds and a crib. Each room had a house size closet with a few hangers. There is a washer and dryer upstairs in the hallway. Location: the house is right off and busy bypass. The noise was not too bad. The house sits on a lot with another smaller house that I believe is ...

«This was a great place to stay. House was nice and clean, and a beautiful view of the James River. Judy was very welcoming, and open to communication, though we didn't need much during our stay. The location wasn't what I was expecting, but that's my fault, due to lack of researching. However, it's only a total 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, which includes a 20 minute ride on the ferry, which was pretty pleasant. Overall great stay.»

«This three-story Federal-style home has a delightful view of the York River. The only thing I didn't give five stars to in my review was the property listing, because the photos simply don't do it justice. The rooms are generously spacious, with a deck on both the first and second floors. The entire third floor is one huge bedroom, with two double beds. «There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children, 10 and under. Three bedrooms had queen sized beds and the 4th, 2 twin beds, which was perfect for the boys. The house was clean, well equipped...it was in need of an update...paint, some minor repairs...none of which affected our stay. The location was great for us, a safe and quiet neighborhood.»
