Das Haus befindet sich etwas abgelegen vom Dorf Skene und liegt absolut ruhig. In der Unterkunft auf ist alles, was man benötigt vorhanden. «Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended»

The house is so beautiful and cozy we immediately felt so at home, and the property was stunning, with beautiful fields and sheep and an incredible view all the way to the sea from the hot tub. Was a perfect home base for exploring some of the beaches and trails of the area.»

«Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist noch viel schöner, als die Bilder vermuten lassen. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und haben eine angenehme Größe. Besonders gemütlich sind das Wohnzimmer und das Esszimmer, welches an die perfekt ausgestattete Küche angrenzt. Unserem Sohn hat besonders die große Wanne gefallen:) Die Kommunikation war super, Doug hat stets schnell geantwortet. Wir würden uns freuen, wiederzukommen. »

«This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. »

«Das Boathouse war sehr gemütlich und top gepflegt. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Gastleute waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, für jede Frage erreichbar. Ein Auto ist bei der Lage sicher von Vorteil. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, reiche Tierwelt.»

«Bra lokasjon. Litt omstendelig innsjekk og utsjekk. Rommet var ok, men renhold var så som så…. Dusj/toalett var trangt. Seng var OK. Kun en barstol på kjøkkenet og kun en stol - litt dumt når man er 2 på rommet. Du har det du trenger for å forberede et måltid i minikjøkkenet. »

«Best room I've had in Aberdeen (not saying a lot). Spacious, and the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. Very central, walking distance to anywhere. But the building is old and squeeky, and you could hear the neigbours walking and closing doors. Also, every time a bus or large vehicle passed by on the street, the floor was literally vibrating. I missed light curtains, I wanted to block view without blocking all the light. Also wish there had been a do-not-disturb-sign to hang on the ...
