«The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!»

«I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. They had also left us a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco, that was a lovely extra. We made full use of the log burner as it wasn’t the best of weather when we were there. «Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place.»

«The property is lovely, and the owner very resposive when light switch disintigrated. It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. Otherwise the cottage is lovely in a pretty spot The foul weather made tv more important I guess. It shortened our stay by half. «We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this beautiful house which is in a picturesque, peaceful setting and was perfect for our family gathering. We found the bedrooms really comfortable and we enjoyed spending time together in the main open plan space, and sitting out in the gardens too. The location was great for walking and exploring, with amenities close by it wasn’t at all far from beautiful Loch Lomond. We hope to stay again.»

«Beautiful setting, close to Luss and good restaurants 10 - 15 minutes away in Helensburgh. Easy to drive to. The space was great- comfortable, clean, with everything we needed. The host was really nice, available and knew so much about the area. Thank you for a great stay. »

«The lodge was fabulous. It was spacious, yet cosy. And very well equipped, from everything in the kitchen & utility, to all of the entertainment. We loved the sauna & games room, & the dogs loved the huge garden. They also loved their walks down to Loch Awe. On rainy mornings just chilling in the lodge was lovely. Also, the beds were very comfortable & we all slept well. We visited Inveraray Castle & Jail Museum, Mull, Oban & Loch Lomund. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful holiday. »

«We loved our 3 week stay at this delightful cottage. It was extremely comfortable, with a well equiped kitchen to self cater and a super co-op just minutes walk away. The large smart TV was also a bonus as we were there during Wimbledom and the start of the Olympics.We loved the village and all the wonderful walks that were available to us right from the front door.
