«My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. »

«The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). The kitchen had everything I would have hoped for as far as being able to prepare my own meals. «Everything was great! Bed was super comfy and the pod was super clean and beautifully presented. Luxury towels and everything you needed. Lovely to be able to walk to Seacliff beach and lots to see and do in very easy reach. I did lots of walking with my dogs and there are tons of options in the area. A favourite was Gullane beach. Would definitely return and recommend. Thank you Lisa for a lovely stay. »

«Nine friends from London/Kent/Essex in Edinburgh for a few days to celebrate some milestone birthdays. So impressed with this beautiful house, and it was perfect for our needs. Also a great location, we were able to walk to Arthur's Seat in about 15 mins. Cheap Ubers in and out of the main centre for our nightly escapades.»

«The property is just as described. Very clean and beautiful! The location can’t be beat as it is a short walk to the city with many restaurants, shops, and the stunning Edinburgh Castle. We only stayed two nights, but wish it had been longer as we loved the city and the accommodation. The property manager, Christine, is quick to answer any questions and the hamper of goodies was a delight!»

«We had a very nice time at our stay in Gifford. The town is quaint and in a beautiful setting. We were visiting Edinburgh so had to take a taxi to Haddington then bus to Edinburgh so keep that in mind if you’re not renting a car. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the internet going out but we appreciated the management company responding quickly to help us resolve.»

«All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. «Beliggenheten til hotellet var veldig bra og sentralt på Royal Mile, nært severdigheter og enkelt å ta seg en pause på hotellrommet. Vi ønsket rom med eget kjøkken og kjøkkenet var helt ok. Stekepannen og stekeredskapene var oppskrapet og godt brukt, så vi brukte ikke dem da de var litt ekle. Hårføneren var skitten og full av støy så brukte den ikke da den var ekkel. Helt ok rent rom ellers. Sengen skulle vært byttet ut da den var godt formet etter alle de andre som hadde vært der før oss. »
