«This is exactly what it is called, a tearoom with rooms, 6 rooms in the back yard. It is charming and nice, and the tearoom had an exelent breakfast, not included, but worth it. One practical thing that was important to us was parking, and it ses ‘free parking’ and that is usually at the hotel premisses. But this is not a hotel, and the free parking was public parking. «Our room named "The appartment" was close to fantastic. It is really an appartment. Big dining room, 2 big sleeping rooms and a very big kitchen. Only bathroom was small. Direct to High street with all restaurants and shops. Parking looked trouble on the apaer, but was easy up on arrival.»

«Stayed for one night en route. Comfortable and clean. Furnishings in the room adequate. Good, hot shower. It was bitterly cold and the duvet and pillows were a bit thin and “tired” so we were a little cool. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Advice from a previous guest to have a room at the back of the property was useful as it was quiet. »

«We loved our stay here. Very comfortable bed. Everywhere was pristine clean. The breakfast was excellent, I am a healthy muesli, yogurt, fruit, nuts person and the choice was better than I had anywhere else. My husband on the other hand tucked into a filling and delicious cooked breakfast. The coffee machine choices were amazing. When we return to Stratford we won't look anywhere else.»

«It was fine, easy to find, near the railway staion and town centre and the best fish and Chip cafe....everything was fine and the hosts were very pleasant. The room was small and a share of the shower next door was what I chose to be as economical as possible. The standard was high and service was hands on and immediate. A very pleasant three days and IT available too, which is important for my business.»

«Guesthoueset er proff drevet, med serviceminded og hyggelig vertinne. Rent og pent med god frokost. Skal vi nevne noe negativt må det være at guesthouset ligger like ved en hovedvei, en del trafikkstøy. Meget godt fornøyd.»

«The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. When in the Cotswolds, I would definitely recommend staying there. »

« basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night»

«The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend.»

Located in a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet miles from the noise; and yet within a short drive to good pubs and country shops. This is an our second Christmas at The Barn. It’s a gem.»
