«We had a wonderful time at the JEMH cottage. Sandi was very responsive and helpful with questions. The location is amazing, we swam, kayaked, and rented a Pontoon boat so we could explore the 1800+ islands! I would highly recommend for a family getaway.»

«Overall, our experience at the shared house fell short of VRBO standards. While each unit offered private space inside, our particular unit lacked a front door (replaced with glass sliding doors), had no BBQ, firepit appeared on the last day, and the front lawn and dock were monopolized by other renters. «Simcoe island is quiet and beautiful. Lots of cows, deer, and different species of birds. Wolfe island has a corner store to stock up on basic supplies (drinkable water). The ferry ride from Kingston to Wolfe island can be a long wait, 1-2 hours. The beach on the property is limestone, make sure to wear water shoes to prevent slipping. Our kids had fun in the waves, which can get quite big when it’s windy. We really enjoyed big sandy beach on Wolfe island - $60 for a family - but well worth it. ...

«Beautiful cottage. Amazing hot tub. Gorgeous shoreline. The only thing that could make it better is a outlet in the bathroom and a full length mirror. »

«The cottage was easy to find and kept up nicely. The lake was calm and right by our door. There is a firepit and bbq to use. Paul the property manager was helpful and responsive. The cottage could use more basic amenities, such as baking trays, salt/pepper, coffee filters, broom, etc. The downsides were the oven not working properly, the canoe needed repair (seat was broken), there was only one smelly/dirty adult lifejacket, and the dock/beach could really use some upkeep.»

«Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!»
