Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Private cabin in Innsbruck Golf community in Helen, GA. Enjoy beautiful views of Yonah Mountain while relaxing on the main deck, sit on the rocking chairs off the private master bedroom deck, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Snuggle up in front of the fire place and watch movies after a day of exploring and hiking. **2 miles or LESS from RIVER TUBING, Georgia Mountain Coaster, Unicoi State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, HELEN FESTHALLE, Wine tours, trout fishing & more! Our cabin, Hibernation Station, has a Black Bear theme and a warm cozy feel. If you feel like staying in, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your own home cooked meals. We have a 10 cup coffee maker, fridge, a 4 burner electric range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster-over, blender and slow cooker just to name a few. There is an inside dining table that seats 6 comfortably with 2 extra chairs if you need them and an outside dining table with 4 chairs to dine under the stars. Our cabin offers a spacious living room with comfy seating, a gas fireplace and a 55 inch ROKU TV and DVD player. The entry to the cabin is step-less and the parking pad is for 2 vehicles which is flat and makes carrying in your luggage a breeze. Off of the master bedroom there is a private deck with 2 rocking chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee, a glass of wine in the evening or just to sit, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Yonah Mountain is a beautiful site off the main deck in every single season and is also a wonderful hike that is just a short drive away. Our cabin is located inside of the gated Innsbruck GOLF community with access to swim/tennis/pickleball. The golf course is 18 holes. There are 2 resort dining options (Sky Bar and and Caledonia Dining Room/The Abbey Wine Cellar) along with The Staghorn Grill (Golf side) inside of Innsbruck for your convenience. There is also a full service spa for you to book treatments and massages if you desire. The cabin has quick and easy access to all that downtown Alpine Helen has to offer!

Communication with the host was good. The cleanliness of the property was extremely disappointing. Linen was stale & had a smell. We ended up buying wash clothes & towels. It could use an exterminator as well. Perfect location. The views were amazing & we like the fact that it was close to downtown. Please clean & do some upgrades in the unit.

5 of us went for a girl's trip. The cabin was amazing and cozy. Very comfortable. Spent allot of time on the deck enjoying the scenery. It was clean and very comfortable. Dylan was very accommodating. Only 7 min from Helen. Will definitely rent this cabin again! Highly recommend you rent this cabin if you are looking for something close to Helen.

Our cabin was great for our visit to Helen. It was about a five minute drive to downtown Helen. FYI, for our fellow “flatlanders” there are some pretty steep drives. Pretty view and very quiet location.

This is a wonderful spot in a very quiet neighborhood. It's very close to everything you will want to do in Helen. When they say 5 minutes to Helen, 3 minutes of that is driving through the hills of the community. It is a great spot, and we will definitely be back at some point soon.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. However, for a 140 cleaning fee, you would think the place would be clean. Found hair from a previous guest in the shower and mildew on the shower curtain. Carpet is stained and the sheets are old and worn. Sheets have little bumps on them. Had to get sheet from another bed to cover them. Also, I had to fix the flush handle on the toilet next to kitchen. The chain kept coming off when you flushed. And we had to clean one of the window seals in the bedroom.

Property was just as described. Very clean with Mountain View. Very relaxing enjoying your morning coffee on the deck. Bonus we saw a mama bear with three cubs less than 100 yds from the cabin.

Dylan was excellent at responding to issues and/or questions. He provided perfect instructions on how to locate the house, which was needed because it was a little tricky. My husband and I brought our 5 grandkids to go tubing and enjoy a weekend together. The four younger ones enjoyed being in the same room but more so, being in their own individual beds. The location was very close to town and literally minutes from Cool River tubing, which was our destination and it was also close to Betty’s Country Store, which is where we stocked up on supplies. I took off a star because even though the home was relatively clean, it definitely was not cleaned prior to our arrival based on both decks being covered in leaves, dirty dishes and pans in the cupboards and a few unalive bugs, which is to be expected in a area with trees but not to be expected on the first day of our arrival. I also personally felt that the master bedrooms mattress was too firm, again, nothing to do with the home, just my personal opinion as it was difficult to sleep on it and the couch was too soft. We made do as it was just for the weekend. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and our host and appreciate Dylan opening his home to give us an opportunity to spend quality time with our grands. They really enjoyed the experience and especially the pool, which was super warm!

Great location

We experienced minimal issues during our stay. The property manager wad phenomenal at communication. The location is great. My girls enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the short trip to city center to walk around. Would definitely stay again.

Fun in Helen

My friend and his son and my son and his sons stayed at the hibernation station for a couple nights to do trout fishing. We had a very enjoyable time. The location is very close to everything in Helen really nice views real very relaxing house.

Great little place! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Just a heads-up—the driveway is very steep, so anyone on a motorcycle should use caution. The location is excellent, but be prepared for a bit of a wait at the gate when signing in—patience is key. Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Great Place to Stay

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The house was clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended. A word of caution—Do not trust your GPS in getting there! We almost went to the wrong house. The owner sent detailed instructions on how to get there. Follow those instead.

Cute place, great amenities and comfortable beds. It could use a few updates and new carpet. Beautiful view of the Yonah mountains and close to both Helen, Dahlonega and Anna Ruby Falls. We had a great time. The cabin was also decorated for Christmas. Totally beautiful and a surprise.

Southern Smokies Escape

Great location, beautiful views and lots of room. Downtown Helen is just minutes away. A terrific notebook was included pointing out all the various activities available in the area. We hiked Brasstown Bald and loved the views at the top. Would easily be a five star with some TLC (carpets cleaned, window sills cleaned, furniture dusted and sime touch-up paint.
