«My girlfriend and I met up from either ends of the island for a catch up. Louisa Cottage was perfect. Excellent location for the village, the shops, restaurants and the vineyards. Julie and Eddie are on hand for any queries and Julie’s home made produce is delicious. The chickens were generous with their eggs! The house is very well equipped, warm and spotless. Next visit already planned for summer.»

«Well-equipped kitchen. Off road parking is a bonus, with pleasant outside BBQ area. The downside is that everything that matters is up a flight of stairs. Once you’re up the stairs, though, there’s a great 180 degree view across to the west. The whole space can get very warm, & the aircon struggles to cool enough. The main bedroom gets especially stuffy, as it’s only window doesn’t open.»

«Quiet and had all we needed for a relaxing few days. It was delightful to wake to bird song and check in with the sheep. Great to be able to do our washing. Lovely to have eggs, milk and some essentials provided. »

«Central to most of the activites and sites our small school group needed to do. Clean and relaxing and very easy to use kitchen. Plenty of room to lounge around in both with an upstairs and downstairs. Tried to fill in 'other' on who stayed, but wouldnt let me. There were 2 teachers and 5 Year 11 (15 year olds) students. Please let the owners know a small plate was broken.»

«We really liked the location, and it suited a larger group so we could walk every ware to shops and attractions. The views are excellent however with the ranch slider open there is a lot of road traffic noise. Property is very tired with kitchen cupboards falling off, stair hand rail loose, Bathroom tap loose. We had to remove a rug in lower bedroom on floor and put in garage as it stunk of cat urine. »
