The annex or family room also has a small sitting room with TV, a small bathroom with half bath and shower, and a kitchen utility room. The kitchen / utility downstairs has a washing machine, cooker and kettle. There is access from two doors to the outside areas, large garden and patio located under the upstairs balcony.
The ground floor has a king size bedroom and separate bathroom for those that do not want to climb the stairs. The kitchen and sitting room are located on this floor and both have patio doors that lead to the balcony. The balcony is the width of the house and overlooks the gardens, woodlands and South Downs.
The well equipped kitchen has an electric aga (there is a small cooker in the downstairs kitchen utility in addition to this). There is a full compliment of cooking equipment, serving dishes, cutlery, plates and glasses. There is an extending table that seats 10 people. The leaves are stored inside the table so it is easy to extend or compact. There are 6 chairs around the table as well as additional chairs on the balcony and around the house for larger groups. These will be in the kitchen according to group booking size. There is a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle.
The sitting room has 2 x three seater and 1 x two seater sofa so there is plenty of seating. In the summer the fireplace is not in use. A log fire can be made in the winter months. There is a 50" smart TV in this room and plenty of side lighting. Leading out onto the balcony there are two sets of sliding doors.
The balcony is a great vantage point for reading, relaxing, eating and socialising. Overlooking the garden there is plenty of room for children and dogs to play. Please note that whilst the front of the house and gates can be shut off to the drive, the garden is not fully dog proof and dogs will be able to get into the neighbouring field and woodland unattended. It is a large space with plenty of freedom to explore. We welcome dogs with open arms.
Upstairs on the first floor is the master bedroom and a second king size room that share a marble bathroom. This has a large soaking bath and hand held shower. All the bedrooms have chairs or sofas for relaxing and there is wifi throughout the house.
We welcome you to our house in the clouds where the views from the inside out will make your stay unique.
