«This was a fairly convenient condo to find. Parking was close to stairs to suite. Check in went smooth. There was sometimes delayed communication with owner. Over all our stay was good.»

«We throughly enjoyed our time at Jim and Kepi’s property. The unit was very well appointed and decorated beautifully (Kepi painted many of the art pieces herself!) Location was great and we all loved our time there. We would definitely stay again. »

«Unit had lovely outdoor space adjacent to garden. Unit itself was very clean but dark and dated. Hair dryer does not work adequately and could not get hot water for shower one morning. Location good for Hilo and Volcano National Park. »

«We loved our stay here, the location was great the condo was fully stocked with high quality things. The place was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed on the island. The beach gear was in great condition and so helpful to have. The property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. We would absolutely stay here again »

«We enjoyed our stay at this VROB immensely. The living area was large and had lots of seating and good lighting. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. We didn't do any cooking but there were lots of pans and pots if you did want to. Everything was awesome and we appreciated being able to stay there. »

«Our stay at this property was fabulous. The apt. was very clean and comfortable for us. The unit was well equipped and we needed nothing during our stay. The host family was super friendly and loved our conversations with them. There was no a/c but the fans provided kept us very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. »

«Our stay was fantastic, the property is well maintained, our kids loved the pool. Location was pretty central to everything, but you need a car. The only downside is there were a lot of little cockroaches running around the kitchen area, which is somewhat expected in tropical destinations. »

«Perfect location on the big Island. Walk-able to some beaches, good driving access to the north, to Hilo and Kona area. Dry and desert like for 20 miles beyond the resort oasis but lush forests further afield. The property was nicely furnished and decorated, very clean and comfortable. »

«We had a lovely time in this nicely equipped, well-stocked place. The size was perfect for two adults and one kid. The place was comfortable, and the small but nice pool was just across the street. The managers were very responsive and even brought some toys for our 6 year old. Our two minor complaints were that you could hear noise from the upstairs unit and that we had to drive everywhere.»

«Lovely cottage separate from the owners house but on the same lot. Great views of the ocean and sunrise. Well equipped kitchenette for self-catering as there are not many restaurants near by, however there is a grocery store in the next town over. Nice to hear the frogs at night, was very soothlng. Morning will bring sounds of cockerels so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. There is a fairly soft double mattress and a say bed, making this a perfect getaway for a couple. »

«The Thomas Guard house made it a memorable stay in Hilo, where we came for a special family celebration. There are four large upstairs bedrooms, plus one off the dining room and two on the lower floor where the children in our group slept. The large, open living room with its picture window was a magnet for everyone to be together.
