This cozy cottage is a little bit off the beaten track in a farming area but it’s pretty close to grocery stores, gas stations, produce stands as well as near some cute little towns. Also not a long drive to the beaches but away from the beach traffic. The cell service isn’t great inside the house but the Wi-Fi works fine and if you go outside, the cell service is better.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful. If it matters to you, there is only a microwave, a hot plate plus a convection/toaster oven which I didn’t use—no stove/oven. There’s also a washing machine. The split mini air conditioner plus a ceiling fan kept the place comfortable in the high heat and humidity although the A/C did make a little bit of a clicking noise, but it wasn’t too obnoxious. There was also a nice tower fan to use in the bedroom.
There’s a nice outdoor sitting area with a fire ring and picnic table, but unfortunately was too hot while I was there to sit outside much but it was nice to sit outside in the morning with my coffee to look at the sunrise (and the cows next door!).
If you want to be away from the beaches, but still within decent driving distance of them, this is a nice quiet place to stay. If I was in the area again, I would consider staying again.
