«Loved the location and the supplies in the apartment (kitchen supplies, towels, extra bedding). I was pleasantly surprised to see a washer & dryer- I just wish it was in the listing so we would've known to bring fewer clothes. The beds were also very high compared to the photo, and we're short so it was a struggle to climb up into bed. My kids also had trouble getting into bed until they figured out how to climb the frame. «We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm. »

«Wonderful experience! The location is perfect and it’s a beautiful, well equipped home. What made this stay superb were the hosts. Hands down the best ever. Howard & Jasmine offered every detail you can imagine and many we never considered. (Rain jackets!) «The apartment is centrally locatated to everything in Washington. The host is extremely gracious and went the extra mile to assure our stay was fantastic. I would definitely recomend!»

«Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.»

«We had a lovely stay at the Melrose, and a special thanks to Lelise and Malcolm at the front desk! When we didn't get the room we had booked, they gave us an extra room so that our 18 year old got a room to herself (instead of sleeping on the sofa in our room). Much appreciated.
